No, you should stay, at least until I finished the interview!
EIT: OK, read it.
Positive: nice to put some of the people behind the scenes in the spotlight. Very cool.
Less positive: Barely anything of substance in the interview. The only concrete thing that's being said, is that David is playing Diablo 3. Beyond that, it's all general phrases, broad sweeps, without saying anything solid.
Man would be an excellent politician.

It's interesting how game developers often recommend C++. As a CS student myself, I feel quite silly for having never actually used it in my projects. *taps nose*

Very cool. It's always nice to hear about some of the people who help make the games we love.

Thanks for interviews. I enjoy a lot these sneak peeks with people behind Bioware's games. Keep it coming!
I'm in the same boat with Samuel_Valkyrie. It's really a nice idea but I'd also welcome a more personal touch. The most fun parts are "What's geeky about you?" types.
Interesting, I've recently read interviews with more game devs - among David Mergele - mentioning CPP. Good to hear. Here is some kind of "mass hysteria" about Java, so it occasionally feels like C++ doesn't get enough love.
And by the way, AC2 is way, way better than AC. Don't let it put you off, David

Well that's reassuring as up until now I thought with my Game Design Degree and working currently as a QA Consultant that I was going down a different path. I'm learning C# right now but my main specialty is visual work with either level design or character modeling with Unreal and 3DS Max. Gotta get my foot in the door, as my school that promised me that very thing didn't deliver. Yeah, thanks for the interview, always like the behind the scenes look and discussion.
