In my opinion, this scene should have happened just after you take out the Reaper Destroyer. Have the Destroyer's laser hit a truck and injure the squadmates. Would also make more sense to have Shepard saying goodbye, Joker having enough time to make it down, etc.

Talking of destroyers, how cone they're so inconsistent with the amount of damage it takes to destroy one...?

I don't know, but it made the scene hilariously bad.

All this speculation and no explanation. Its unforgiveably bad. Question is does bioware care anymore?

I had the same idea in mind. Calling the normandy in the middle of a "no retreat" charge that risked the lives of a few dozen men/women aboard to help two injured friend's  was beyond stupid.

Am I the only one that feels the whole charge idea was really, really, really stupid? Not just the whole "charge in one direction in front of the giant lazor beam," but the fact that it took only one soilder to make it to the beam and take out all the reapers, and the reapers knowing this, decided to keep it extremely under-guarded. Harby, Maruder Shields, and the Three Huskateers did a swell job at keeping their only known weakness well guarded. Oh... wait....crap.

They just threw something into the picture to fill in the plothole. It's stupid, and unrealistic by all means, but answers the question to the squad's space magic porting into the normandy and crashing at FTL speeds (no explanation for that part though Image IPBImage IPB) onto the jungle world. All bioware was trying to accomplish. It's stupid, but not so much of a plot hole now.

Reaper gets pwned.
Senses human nearby (Shepard's got a hot bod).
Remembers Harby talking about a human pwning his and Sovvy's backside.
Reaper says; "Shepard."
Shepard says; "You know who I am?"
Confirmation!

You know, Turian Admiral Coronati has killed at least 3 Sovereign class Reapers. That's 2 more than Shepard is responsible for.
So really Mr. Destroyer should be saying "Coronati."

Yes yes human, but how would a Reaper distinguish a human from any other organic if not by sight?

Coronati isn't quite as special as Shepard now though, is he?

Okay, I don't know of this has been posted before, but when the Normandy comes to pick up your squadmates right before you board the Citadel, why is Harbinger just hovering there doing nothing while you, your squadmates and the Normandy are sitting ducks? You are there for more than enough time to get destroyed, and since you don't heard him attacking any more of Hammer team during this sequence, it confuses me more that there is this golden opportunity to destroy the man and the ship that has been a pain in your ass for the last few years and instantly secure a Rweaper victory.

Thoughts?

Because it would be too conventional.

And you know how Bioware likes their endings :D
