Would be great if you could hold one in the uk!, and agree with most people, discuss about the work in general, writers artists etc, just a little heads up about stuff what your doing and what you can 'leak' officially --but would be really great if you held one in the uk one day :D

I agree with the others that it would be great to have a presence at some major events outwith the US. I know that can be a bit more difficult for you guys but it might be worth considering what percentage of your fanbase is in Europe, Asia etc and market towards that too. Personally Scotland or England would be my first choice but I may be a tad biased. ^_^

In terms of specifics I'd like to see at an event:

Panels with writers and actors
Information about upcoming projects (including concept art if that's the stage you're at)
Booths with exclusive merchandise you can't get elsewhere (this would be a huge push for me to travel to something...)
A demo if that's the stage the game is at.
Feedback sessions that are limited and apply only so you know you're getting hardcore Bioware fans.

But I guess my biggest request would be a presence outside the US. :)

Eurogamer expo in London would be pretty awesome was good seeing Chris and others last year at Gamescom but it'd be great to be able to just get a train down south.

Everything and anything is always good to see at these events and the after show drinking sessions are usually pretty special aswell. I think I got in at 6am one night at Gamescom with the 9am start soo good.

Uk sometime would be good.
But I thought these monthly forums would be about the games, not about conventions and stuff that you get with box sets?!

Come to sunny Australia and meet the hardcorest gamers on the planet. (We seriously are.)

A bit of Vegemite behind the ears will discourage drop bears and bunyips are pure fable. Probably.

I, Firky, do hereby promise to cosplay as a female qunari drop bear, should you arrive.

(We have great conventions and gaming events. I'd link etc but I'm outback at the moment - I really am - and this internet is slow as.)

First, I will admit to being disappointed in the direction your Question of the Month is taking. I was actually looking forward to see what July's QOM would be, and feel like this is a bit of a last minute throw away. I also thought this forum was going to be more directly relevant to the gaming experience whether it was a broader/more popular topic such as combat style or something smaller such as crafting. The question about a CE made a little more sense to me. Perhaps, in future you could do 2 questions if one of them is going to be so non-specific? Thank you.

That said, I've never been to a con. I watched videos of the panel Q&A and thoroughly enjoyed that. I think more along that line would be great. I liked seeing the concept art for the armor. Regarding swag, it should not be exclusive, at least in terms of gameplay like a DLC. I agree that that would be punishing a lot of fans who can't go. I could see Tshirts, upgrades to the CE, free DLC (which would be available to all at a price), signed artwork . . . I dunno. Location is going to be more important to whether I go than swag offered.
Less eagerly awaiting the August question.

Lots of good ideas.
How about coming over here in Canada's Capital?!?! Ottawa. Yes it's boring here, but make it better and more interesting by coming here!

Ha. I'm also in my nation's capital and so will echo this (though I would never expect it). Montreal is more accessible to me than Toronto, however.

Of course we want game information, but lacking that, I do agree that lore tidbits and developer panels, Q&As (with any range or variety of staff), concept & promotional art for sale (which I agree need not be exclusive), maybe a gameplay competition (I think of the beginning of DA2 where you first encounter an Ogre and perhaps there could just be infinite enemies to pit one player against another (on two different consoles / computers; I don't feel multiplayer would be necessary) whether for a prize (an autograph or a chance to ask a question or maybe to have a very minor character named after them) or for fun; or another trivia competition.

That’s right. :)

And it will be great to see some demonstration of the new features of Dragon Age III, of course with the brief description of the storyline.

I like the idea of playable demos. Unfortunately not all of us can get to conventions and such. Give something to those of us who are loyal fans but are not able to get to the conventions that are out there. Many of these conventions are in states that are too far away so reward us fans that still support the games.

Since there are a number of us who can't make events or cons, how about a web-panel of some kind? It wouldn't be hard/expensive to use something as simple as Go To Meeting and let the fans be involved that way as well. Then it could be on your own time.

Panels. Easily the absolute best part of any convention, and the thing I look forward to most from any Bioware visit. Even if I can't make it to the event, I can still usually find a copy of the panel on YouTube or some similar site or catch a transcript somewhere and get all of the information necessary.

As a fan-oriented company, when Bioware does a panel questions get answered, fears get alleviated, grievances are placated or, at the very least, acknowledged (case in point; the debacle over the ending of ME3 and the hour-long panel about it at PAX East, where responses were given and the very, very decent Extended Cut was talked about before its release) and best of all, new projects are confirmed or hinted at. Now that ME3 has an ending worthy of the thirty-odd hours that preceeded it and there's no longer a feeling of a heavy stone in my gut, I'm settling in for the Dragon Age III wait, so I'll be on the lookout for any more panels Bioware takes part in. :)

I’d love to see you guys come down south to Texas, or even somewhere more south-accessible like Dragon*Con in Georgia! I loved the extended preview of Dawn of the Seeker at SXSW (and was totally bummed that I missed Mike Laidlaw), and I’m looking forward to getting Eve Myles’ autograph at Wizard World Austin in October, but I was hoping for a bigger BioWare presence.

I adore the panel you did at PAX East, and that it was available online for those of us that couldn’t make it. It was great that you featured the cosplayers, and getting to hear the big guns behind Dragon Age just talking about their work and the potential for where they might want to go was thrilling. I’m not really expecting a lot of new information at cons, I know you guys will release it when you’re ready. But it’s wonderful to know you care so much about our input, and what little you’re able to show, like a few new ideas and concept art at PAX East, was awesome. So yes, moar panel plz.

I would definitely want a meet and greet/ q&a with developers, writers, and especially voice actors. I live for autograph opportunities ((If you’re taking requests, I humbly submit Steve Valentine, Gideon Emery, and Claudia Black <3)). I can take or leave exclusive swag. It’s nice, though a tad unfair for those who couldn’t make it. A lot of that kind of thing ends up on ebay anyway :P. And HELLS YES to parties!

If I could make one teeny-weeny nitpick: you guys announced waaaay back in March that there would be special Dragon Age talk-back panels at "a number of conventions and gatherings", but as of right now (to my knowledge), you’ve only really had a presence at PAX East and SDCC, which are understandably huge and worth your while, but are expensive and harder to get in to for those of us that don’t live close by. What cons I (and others) can attend is dictated almost entirely by their location, and I was hoping you guys would be traveling to more than just the Mega-Cons. If at all possible, what I’d really appreciate in the future is an advance schedule of the cons you’re going to be at, that way if there aren’t any nearby I could at least start saving for my plane ticket. (My apologies if this already exists somewhere and I’m dumb, haha)

And so to recap: yes to panels, Q&A, meet and greets, signings, and parties
No to swooping

I think it would be awesome if bioware did a live advertisement while outside of a con, perhaps when you have more dev on DA3(like closer to the release date)

I think it would be great if Bioware went to the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. Edmonton and Calgary are neighbors, why are they never at the convention? This last year I saw many a fan dressed as their fave dragon age characters (myself and friends included) as well as many Commander Shephard's running around, but practically no bioware participation. There was the voice of Shephard this year which was great! His pannel had a great turn out, in fact the room was full.

I think having a table set up at the expo as well as a couple of pannels would be great for the fans and I think that you would have a great turn out :)

Yeah, I gotta voice my support for this one. Despite living in the same province as you guys, I've had zero contact with you guys. (I coulda made it to that midnight screening of Dawn of the Seeker, but I work late on Thursdays and didn't have the energy.)

I'm so close that I could drive by your office and throw a molotov cocktail at your building, but if I actually walked in the door and tried to get something autographed, you'd probably have security beat me with rubber hoses.

the first blog question was nice but june and july no
like some other have written i'd prefer questions about gameplay, characters, story.... about the game
feed back for the june question   about  1000
feed back for the july question     about 400  it pretty obvious what people prefer

demo are the best media,  some artwork of the game would be welcome
comic con in paris, with voice's actors (claudia black), and the drawers,  writters

Well, you could come over to my place. We could bbq some, have drinks, coffee, snacks. Then some sauna and later we could chill by the lake drinking cold beer while the midnight sun shines and you could tell me what is going to happen with DA. Sounds good, yes?
