Dragon Age Question of the Month (July)

When it comes to what presence Bioware should maintain at such events, having a panel as well as Q&A is always welcome (having these played over on Bioware TV is a great addition to those who cannot attend).
Of course demos are great as well, but I'd prefer to wait until the team feels comfortable presenting their work in such a public manner.

I'd be all over the BioWare booth and panels if they ever came to FanExpo in Toronto, Canada. (Funny thing is I'd have never said that a month ago 'cuz I hadn't picked up my copy of DA:O yet. Now I fangirl over Dragon Age like how other girls in my demographic fangirl over Twilight.)
I thought Twilight was "so 2010" by now.

(By the way, we have an excellent array of dragons over here; Bearded Dragons, Water Dragons etc, if you need one to pull a little cart to the games retailer.)

There's a Bearded Dragon living in my backyard. Come to Sydney and I'll catch it for you. (Well, that might be a little cruel. I'll take a photo.)

I don't go to conventions but I do love reading about them. Some things I would love to see you guys do are:
-Q&A with fans at any location; I thoroughly enjoy reading questions asked by the fans and the in-depth answers from developers that follow.
-Panels; I always get excited when new footage is shown exclusively at a panel (I imagine most people go to panels in hopes of seeing something). I don't mind if it is just a two minute clip, or walkthrough-like what was done with SW:TOR. Also, please talk about the unique processes that go into each part of the game; the writing, combat, skill managment, etc. Players are always interested in what goes into making a game. To sum it up: Show, show, show; we'd love to see anything you guys are working on.
-Signings/Meet and Greet; you are rockstars to us, so be sure to engage in social contact with us. I presonally would love to meet some developers so I'm positive there are others who would too. Keep it up and show us that your human. I love to see you mingle with fans. Its something you already do so well!
-Having the game avaliable; this is crucial for recieving feedback from fans. Create a five minute demo to allow fans to get the feel of the new game and offer advise. A good demo that includes: Conversation, Combat, and a beautiful new location. That'd be good unless you feel like adding more. Of course early in development you may not have such a demo avaliable but I do encourage you to get one up as soon as feasible.
-Bioware/Dragon Age Gear; clothing is a great way to advertise a game. Handing out some free items or Event Only Items would be a sure way to keep fans loyal. Maybe hold competitions online for those of us unable to make it to aquire those same items. That would be great!
-Make sure to show off! Big signs, paintings, photographs, etc, anything that could attract new customers and entertain fanboys. With Dragon Age it is all about the world so make stepping into the booth like stepping into an Orlesian tavern. Hold contests like you do and keep people active at your booth.
I hope some of my advise will be helpful to you in planning future conventions.
With regards,
MaladorTheGreat

1: Will we see awesome armor sets and unique weapons for the warrior version of the DA3 protagonist? like http://fav.me/d57w9xr with what my friend Benjamin Sawyer (benbrush) and I (altslash, who came up with lore revolving around Aslina and vision of what DA3 setting might be like)
2: Cassandra and Gallion were awesome in the Dragon Age Dawn of the Seeker film. Will Cassandra and her mage associate Gallion play a big part in Dragon Age 3, possibly as companions?
3: Will Morrigan, Flemeth, the Warden, Child (if you took morrigan's deal in DAO), play a part in the plot for Dragon Age 3, especially if your Warden was in a Romance with Morrigan and choose to stay with her as you went through the Eluvian together?
Looking foward to see if any of my questions make it

Will we ever see a Creator made Mod like we have in Fallout; New Vegas for any of the Dragon Age Series? Perhaps a Unofficial official Fix Pack for DA:O and DA:A or something of the sort.

Not the same as seeing/meeting in person, but more people might be able to enjoy it, so it could be more bang for your buck?

An a question, will we find out what happened to Morrigan and the child she had??? I was a female noble PC so I had to convince Alistair to do the ritual. Is there any chance of hearing about what happened to her and the other companions?

Kind of off-topic, but I also like the community stuff like the vote on the default FemShep, the merch designs, the ME3 launch Twitter stories/roleplaying, etc. Especially the stuff that will show up in-game or become part of the game lore ... as a fan, it's really neat to be involved even a tiny bit in the "making of" process.

The completionist in me HATES exclusive in-game swag because it means there is so much stuff I can't get, UNLESS the content is made more widely available later. I liked the Staff of Parthalen because, if i remember correctly, it was originally a bonus item at a demo show, but later was made more widely available.
Same goes for store exclusive bonuses. Provided they are eventually made more widely available (though maybe not free), I don't have a problem with pre-orders at gamestop getting exclusive content as apposed to some other store.
Speaking of gamestop, I like going to the midnight release parties they have. Its like a mini-convention. It may seem crazy in the age of digital downloads but releasing a small number of demos on physical discs through such stores, perhaps in concert with other EA title releases or coinciding with actual conventions, could broaden the exposure you're looking for.
-edit-
oh, and the absolute best swag iv'e ever gotten with a game: cloth maps. I mean actual cloth, not that papery stuff the skyrim map was made of. I still have several cloth maps from really old games I use as tea towls.

Niestety, nierealne
This post is for Polish fans only. Sorry, if you can't understand, but my fellow fan from Poland had a question. Carry on
