The Noble definitely has some politics. The Commoner is facing hardship. I like the way the casteless in this game are not only poor but dirt poor and they are treated really badly. If you are into politics though pick the Noble.Napoleon1853 wrote...
I'm trying to decide what race and origin my first character will be. Well my first one I end up playing the game through with that is. I am thinking either Dwarf or Human. I am leaning towards Dwarf though. I think I am also leaning towards Noble over Commoner Dwarf, even though I don't really know about either. I know the Noble Dwarf has some politics in it's story though I think.

That's scary. I think we're twins. My commoner's name is Uri, which makes it even more scary. But Uri is an easy-going guy who's gotten used to a life at the bottom.Fulgrim88 wrote...
How about Buri?
I know, he's beardless and all, but i like how he turned out.
He strikes me as saying "Bring it on, richman. How could you possibly make my life any worse?"

Wow, not only is Buri the illigitimate son of a noble, he now has a twin brother! (who would also be an illigitimate sone of a noble... and they are both beardless! Don't think stubble counts as a beard for dwarves does it?)
The castless dwarves seem to be treated worse than the elves. Which makes me want to play them

That's because no one likes foul-smelling short people. At least we nobles bathe.Kilsot wrote...

What this guy said. The the males lack chins when they have no beards. They also have really poofy cheeks. At least my dwarf commoner hasn't turned into an illigitimate son of a noble.Cuuniyevo wrote...

Granted, the female features are softer, but you can have a chin and regular cheeks if you want to go beardless.
