DLC idea:
S.O.S. Valhalla (Better name can be suggested all I could think of off
the top of my head without giving to much away about plot.) WARNING:
Long post ahead I actually thought this through some what.

Traynor: "Commander you have received a new message at your private terminal."

The Commander proceeds to his terminal and looks into his inbox.

*URGENT COMMANDER READ*

Commander when you get the time please have a talk with me on Vidcom.



Hacket.



Shepard then proceeds to the Vidcom room and brings up a link with Hacket.

Shep: "Sir?"

Hacket: "Commander, this is a
top priority assignment and it WILL be sending you deep into Reaper
controlled space. We had a infiltration vessel with a top notch science
team go into Batarian controlled space, they were there for a modified
reaper weapon the Batarian Hegemony had been working on in secret and
from what intel is reporting to us, it works! The team successfully
found the weapon."
Shep: "So, let me guess,
Batarian radicals found out about this captured the team and the weapon
and you want me to get both of them back, from the radicals?"
Hacket:
"Actually no, the galaxy is at war Commander and, even though the
Batarian survivors are still upset about the Mass relay incident they
are desperate for help. So it gave the team the perfect cover story,
they were there to retrieve Batarian survivors and refugees they
actually did save a couple hundred Batarians and they were very
grateful."
Shep: "So now they are pinned down by Reaper forces and can't leave?"
Hacket:
Shakes his head -no-. "They were leaving making good head way but, on
their way back to the Mass Relay preparing to leave the system we got a
few scrambled messages. The last few scrambled words we got were..
Bizarre Nebula appeared, Power Surges, Malfunctions, meteorite crashed
into hull. So natural causes stopped them of some kind.." Hacket then
shrugs "I'll upload the cordinates to Joker, get out there and find that
team and that weapon Commander, it could help change the tide of this
war. Hacket out."

-Moments later-

The Normandy pulls up
slowly to the cordinates the Hull of the large vessel can be seen
floating in a eerie green nebula of some kind. Joker: "Can't get into close commander initial scans show when passing into that it would shut down all the engines power." Shep: "Could we take the shuttle?" Joker: "Not
enless you wanna be trapped in a metal box drifting through space."
Garrus then walks onto the deck he had been listening to the initial
conversation. Garrus: "Maybe
we could fly over use something to project our selves over to the
ship?" Shep: "You mean go out in our suits and fly over." Garrus:
"Exactlly, enless the Commander is afraid to get his space booties wet."
Garrus chuckles. Shep:
"Right.. coming from the Turian whos afraid if he stops calibrating for
one moment the ship will explode." Shepard does that awkward goofy smile
he is famous for.

The
crew in the Cargo deck leaves and the Commander, Garrus, Liara fully
suited disembark with small rocket boosters into space and slowly
jettison them selves through the void of space over to the Cruiser. They
make contact with the hull and use the magnetic sync of their boots to
stay anchored to the cold metal surface. Liara: " I've never seen a Nebula quite like this it feels so odd." Shep: "Neither have I it gives me a feeling of dread or Paranoia something along those lines.." Garrus: "As
strange as it may sound I feel the same way to Commander."  The three
creeped along the hull looking for a Airlock to enter though along the
way the see some entity standing along the hull. The body had the
physique of a woman small and slender it stood with a odd disposition
but it didn't stop them from approaching it.
Garrus approaches the
body and nudges it in the lower back with the barrel of his assault
rifle. The body does nothing Garrus proceeds around to the front and
sees the visor is completely busted open from what appears to be a
suicide shot from a pistol. Garrus: "Suicide damn shame.. wonder what caused this Batarian to get out here and kill her self?" Liara:
"Perhaps she was griefed by what has happened to her people and didn't
want to be bothersome leaving her body inside the ship. Still a shame.."
Shep: "Come on lets keep
moving." Eventually they come to a already opened Airlock and procced in
they then presurrize the room and seal it shut. Oxygen returns to the
chamber but they are still wary as a Biohazard sign is flashing in the
opper corner so they do not remove their helmets.

They proceed
into the ships corridor, all systems are active except the engines.
Suddenly the hear a burst fire of gunshots from down the corridor a
Batarian and Human run out of a door way firing of multiple shots with
their Avengers then a Exo-skeletal spike launches forward and pins the
human against the wall; another fires and pins the Batarian. A gut
wrenching moaning asthmatic sounding gurgle mixed with a scream of agony
and a loud saw like machine sound emerges from the doorway. A large
creature with a bent human head and a Batarians protruding from its
pectorals oddly; claws its way out into the Corridor. It has four hands
sticking from its chest andmuscle tissue is visible along some parts of
the creatures torso, organs showed along its abdominal regions its right
leg would resemble that of a bone exray the leg was split. The left leg
resembled something of a lobsters leg from earth where a head would
normaly be positioned on a body a pair of thin antennae twitched about.
Its right arm was a Praying mantis like claw and sticking out from under
this claw was a another a Lobster like claw. Its left arm was a
muscular humanoid arm and from the left shoulder Exo-skeleton like
spikes protruded from the shoulder. From its back tentacles wiggled and
other claw like appendages splayed about it. Small patches of
Exo-skeleton like chitin would dot across the monstrositys flesh.

I
don't want to get to far into detail but they kill it. Through out the
ship Human/Batarians infected with a strange parasite some retaining
their original forms and some mutated attack Shep and company as they
progress though the cruiser (name uncertain I was thinking Valhalla but
IDK).

Anyways I think this would be like a fun space Mystery find
out where the parasite came from see if there are any living crew
members left rescue them and get the Reaper weapon I would love this as a
DLC!!!
