Warp ammo does extra damage to lifted targets. So between Singularity and Pull, you can lift multiple targets. Warp Ammo also deals extra damage to health, barriers, and armor.
I do not have the numbers in front of me, but I think Warp Ammo provides +15%, +25%, +35% (ranks 1-3) extra weapon damage on health, barriers, and armor. Heavy Warp Ammo deals +50% extra weapon damage. All damage is based off of the base weapon damage and is calculated first when hitting an enemy.
Warp Ammo does double damage to lifted targets, so instead of +15%, +25%, +35%, +50% extra damage, it deals +30%, +50%, +75%, +100% extra weapon damage.
You can read more about it here.

Remember that these bonuses apply only to BASE weapon damage, so later on in the game their benefits diminish greatly.
