Honestly, I toyed with the guns in SP and I hate all of the ones I'm willing to give up. I've also used them in MP, haha, and they make me vomit.

is it so good ? i tried few times, didn't like it, maybe i was using it wrong (sticking with pistols, gethsmg/locust occasionaly)

seem it in action at the hands of an asari adept.  I think a stabilization armor mod was used to handle the recoil, and had consitently eliminated marauders with ease.  I also saw it mostly on turians (with their inate stability trait), the player was good at it.  Thus my curiosity on the hurricane.
