At the end of the day it's my server. If I want to run with mods on my server then that should be my choice. I run my servers as I wish, and I let BW do the same. If Bioware want to take down my server then I should be able to take down theirs. Such fights are unnecessary though.

All BW need do is not grant credits to modded servers then all's fair and fine. Modders can even do this themselves, but will still face the ban it seems. One has to wonder why... oh yes. An excuse to ban is what BW want so to make cash off repeat purchases.

Please, no pop up warning as has been suggested here. It takes ages for that advert to download every time there's a weekend event (and I have a cable 100meg down stream) or dlc and it does it every time one exits a lobby to go to the MP main menu. Please don't make these slow adverts a permanent feature.

? The rocket glitch in on xbox only, PC stuff, this is the first time I have heard of banning for modding in a play list that grants nothing and is your own private thing. If they are banning that as well, that is a problem. Banning missle glitchers though is reasonable and they have oinly themselves to blame.

Technically at the end of the day EA controls how players connect to each other...

I think it would be better to just fix the bug rather than ban people.

They are fixing it, but people are exploiting it still and while they make the patch. Is it fair that cheaters get tons of credits while people who know better have to grind it out? No it's not and they should and will be punished for doing it, those credits were not earned they were stolen.

You can't just put more people to fix the glitch. It doesn't help. Anyone in software engineering will know there is a limit to debugging before it becomes a hassle working with everyone since you're going to have to keep explaining how it works.

I think it's too harsh just take away the credits they earned in the match. Especially considering how geth rocket troopers cheat, and how banshees have magnetic hands. There is also the whole server disconnection issues. Banning someone is really to big of a punishment.

Glitch abusing to get an advantage over people who don't know how/refuse to use it is ban worthy, and I see no problem with it. I was in a Platinum game with a guy who had glitched his rocket launcher. It took me up till wave 5 to figure it out and I left on wave 6.

I suppose we should let bank robbers keep all the money they steal too then I mean they earned it and went through some effort over the people who worked for the money right?

If you think the game cheats ( ie. you don't agree with how the service is being handled ), cheating is not a valid option. You can complain to the company. You can stop playing the game. But the moment you cheat, and violate your terms of service, you are saying "I do not care any more, it is okay to ban me, goodbye". It doesn't matter what you think of the game, or how hard it is, or how the enemies cheat, or what's fair.

Yeah it's not real money dude. If it was real money then you'd have a point but it's credits. Hell if that's the ase then Bioware owe's me millions of credits for all the times I've been disconnected on round 10 and 11. Some people treat this game like it's real life.

I could not care any less if a person does that to get the credits to max out things early. What I DO care about is them totally ruining the enjoyment of other players. DO IT IN A PRIVATE GAME if you are going to do it at all. Are these dudes that stupid to realize that?

Begin rant:/
Not all of us are software engineers, we are gamers who want to play a fair game.We want to be able to join a game, have fun, earn our gear even if it is s**tty andnot have to worry about getting banned from a game we all love just because a few a**holeswant to exploit the flaws. We don’t care if it takes 1 person or 100 people to fix it, just fix it!Now...can we all please just get back to the game?

Except for, you know, the money those people could have spent instead of glitching and ruining other peoples time. You do know EA /Bioware is a business right?

My point is to use a related example since you aren't getting it in its basic form. People are gaining an advantage over others by using something they should not be, something that is clearly wrong. There is no justification, to say "The store is sooo hard I cant get anything I need to cheat for credits" no, sorry play like everyone else. Disconnecting is a diffirent issue do to various internet connections, its not something totally avoidable and if your internet suffers from random dissconnets often then you might have to fix that yourself. There is a big difference there.

But just because the credits are fake doesn't mean rules don't apply, where do you even get that logic(if you want to call it that) from?

Private matches are still online, still granting credits for cheating, they are getting banned as well.

It's difficult to find random matches on platinum without glitchers always being there...i know, private match will solve that, but it's kinda cool to actually make new friends. How about you Mgamerz, you up for it? I'll friend request you if you like :)

Sorry but I just don't care if people missile glitch if Bioware or EA thinks it's that much of a problem then fix the glitch. My internet works perfectfly on every game I play except for ME3 the problem is with the servers. Sorry dude but it's a big difference between robbing a bank and missile glitching. That's saying killing cerberus engineers is the same as going on a real life shooting spree. One thing is real and the most serious thing someone can do and the other is just a game.

Its not meant to be a word for word example, otherwise I would just repeate, you know, the same exact thing that isn't being understood.

Sure money isn't being stolen from other players but the 'fake money' is being taken for half the effort if that and those playersgain an unfair advantage. But people justify that because ' the game cheats' or ' the store is hard'. Those arguments are asinine.

[/quote] I'm not saying its the same thing, but I guess you just simply can not understand one way or the other.
perhaps CoD is a better....ish example for you. Do you think the people that 'boost' to gain levels is fair? They aren't exploiting a glitch but they are playing in a way that makes it super easy to gain levels to max out guns/levels while others need to grind for it.

Again, they are fixing the glitch, but using it in the mean time is still cheating. 'I didn't know that bioware didn't want me to have unlimited missles' yea, right, there is no way you could think that is part of the game.
