Hey,

I bought the Shadow Broker DLC online, downloaded and installed it, but the game says it cannot find any authorization. I then logged into cerberus with my origin id ingame and the authorization request vanished.
But there is no ingame email oder hint whether the DLC has successfully been installed or not.
I am currently at the beginning of ME2 at Omega base and had a romance with Liara in ME1.

Any suggestions?

Doesn't matter if you romanced her or not. The mission isn't available until after Horizon. You'll get an email from TIM about it then saying something like there's info on the Shadow Broker that your old contact Liara will be interested in and that she's on Ilium.

Be aware that there is a bug that can prevent you being able to recruit Samara and/or Thane if you do the Shadow Broker DLC before getting these two characters for your team. You'd normally get the info to begin these recruitment missions from Liara anyway, so the important thing is when talking to Liara to avoid the conversation option that says "Let's go get the Shadow Broker" (again, something like that).

I bought theis dlc after meeting Liara on Illium. How do I play it?

Assuming you've downloaded the .exe file and then run it to install the DLC, first thing I'd ask is have you got the email from The Illusive Man as described above? If so then everything I told Sanguinus_One should apply to your game too. If not then the first thing I'd try is reinstalling the DLC.
