I sure do appreciate that. In return, while you're off re-positioning yourself to make sure your non-lethal missile can stagger a trash mob, I will hit them with a multi-frag and make them go away.

I hope you can fuel that grenade count with all the other Destroyers and Demolishers running around, terrible about how everyone is fighting for it while my handy ML has infinite shots and can hit target at distance

Am I the only one who rarely has problems keeping my grenades stocked up?

So I sometimes have to spend a thermal clip pack in an objective wave, but it's not as if they're in short supply.

I wouldn't carry a weapon I couldn't hit with reliably, by the same logic I won't use an ability that won't either.

ML reminds me of inspector gadget it just goes off willy nilly and often to useless effect. When it does hit I'm not sure if it is even "saving" me since I was looking at that enemy anyways and about to put many small holes into them with my harrier with increased fire rate. If its a large mob of enemies I'm better off taking cover than standing in the open waiting for three missiles to stagger them. In 3 seconds I could very well be dead.

Also 50% shields is ludicrous. That cost alone just seems out of hand, even at its best ML doesn't deserve more than 20-30%

Missile Launchers are so bad that I wouldn't put points in them even if they didn't reduce your shields.

Multi-frag - Dmg/Dmg/Grenade Count

You Nuke everything in front you!

Basicslly Zero into missiles, Six all else, Max health & shields on fitness and then there's no such thing as a bad build.

Grenade gear makes this much better. between a maxed out gear and thermal clip packs which are otherwise useless IMO you can have 54 nades a match without ever hitting a box. If that isn't enough...

Wow. The dude who is telling everyone that you can't rely on the accuracy of the missile launcher is talking about the accuracy of multi frags. I don't find that refilling my grenade supply is too difficult, and even if I am short on grenades, I am confident in my weapon proficiency and my shields to handle whatever arises until I can get grenades.

What? when did i say that? The ML is very accurate as long as you arent peaking around a corner and blocking the ML's shot. At range it hits anything you can aim at. The Multi-frag however can barely hit what is in front of you since it spreads

Haven't read other responses, but yeah I specced out the missile launcher entirely. I wanted an unstoppable uber-tank, not a weapon that does only 100 damage every 5 seconds at the expense of half my shields.

The multi-frag carpet bombs the area in front of you. It doesn't need aiming.

Seriously man, play whatever you want, but I don't think you can convince anyone that ML is better than MFG, because 1. theorycrafting and 2. most of us can fire up the game at any time and see that it sucks.

Multi-frags are mostly a short-range, quick-fire, diet cobra missile launcher. A great get out of jail free card.

I'm not worried about the enemies that are far away. I can take cover and shoot those. It's the ones that get close to me that I want to be very very dead, right now. And the multi-frags are great for that.

Yeah no kidding, I got like 200+ of those, rarely use them.  And ammo crates have 1-2 and with a Demolisher you get a free grenade every now and then.


Also, multi frags are so useful, they stagger everything.

Yeah no kidding, I got like 200+ of those, rarely use them.  And ammo crates have 1-2 and with a Demolisher you get a free grenade every now and then.

I've got 255 of them, despite the fact that I've started spending more of them lately.

I swear that they take priority over medpacks in PSPs <_<

Incidentally, multi-frags also fire fast enough to be a great "get your teammate out of the banshee's claws"-card. Please remember this next time you play as destroyer against reapers.

Some people say the same thing about Concusion Shot and they are wrong.

I have, before I respecced. It was very attracted to walls and nearby objects. Range to the enemy didn't make much difference.

*If* you haven't just shot a missile and you're on a 3 second cooldown in which case he likely will torch you. If it were activated somehow it wouldn't be that bad, otherwise its only there when it feels like it which isn't always useful.

Then you had bad luck because even one as unlucky as i has massive success with the ML, it doesnt get in the way, i dont have to aim it, it staggers dangerous enemies, and it has infinit ammo. It rarely hits walls for me (Prolly because i dont hide in corners)
