Hello everyone. First of I dont want to offend anyone or make people angery.
This is an honest and sincere question.
I have started playing ME1 and 2 again in order to get ready for ME3.
I am on a new comp so all my saves are gone. So I am working on a new game.
I am in the middle for my 1st playthrough of ME1 and I was wondering,
If I use the console to get the "medal of honor" achevement and then use the console to get enough EXP
Would I be able to hit 60 on game 1?

Thank you all for your help. I know console cheats are frowned apon and people ask LV 60 questions all the time.
For that I am very sorry.

Wouldn't you rather do it the proper way?

Can't be done the proper way in a single playthrough. I've heard that there are not enough experience points in the entire game to get to 60 in one playthrough. That leaves either the xp exploit on Therum, which would probably take almost as long as a second game, or the console. Whether you can use the console to get around the first game level 50 cap is another question. I was under the impression that there's something in the profile that determines this rather than just the achievement, but I've never played with the console and I'm not sure on that point.

^ Then do a second playthru... or doesn't the character import at the same level?

Can't say I've ever tried for lvl 60, I always seem to finish around the low 50's.

if you are on the pc , i suggest that you don't bother corrupting your save with the console back and forward but instead use the PC console which is very easy. Simply add the EXP command to get to the required level. I do however suggest that you activate the console first and also finish the game at least one time fully , so you understand the whole story first.
Console command way takes 1 minute max to get to the highest level. Have Fun!
