My mistake if I want clear.  I believe BE needed a nerf.  I also believe that a gear or something should enable you to make them stronger.  Just like UR guns make weapon classes stronger.

Might be because you take es, that power is irrelevant on plat, last plat match i used in all one clip of my harrier and scored second with only a thousand difference to a typhoon destroyer (considering it was match full of legionaires that can carry gold with any class...)

A well played shadow does not need ammo, cept for some cover fire or as finisher


Can you do better  with the same skill level, just using your weapon with cloak as a damage buff though. People score high with just about anything that are well skilled, that wasn't the point. The point was potential.

You used one harrier clip... and no electric slash.... You had to have only spammed shadow strike to get the finishing kill on targets. Your team would have to play an exceptionally terrible game if they let you get a highscore by spamming worthless shadowstrike.

not only taht but some enemies liek pahntoms and banshees can block your powers, take in to count that plus cooldown, plus warp, throw etc being dodgable and unless you a fury running into groups and throwing, most biotic heavy players can't keep up with the new super soldiers.

They need to buff Biotic explosions

I have to agree with this. I have seen magic happen with both drellguards and adepts. I could not replicate it though.

They are like crappier versions of Asari Vanguards.  Except no Stasis and Pull doesn't work on everything.

Drell Adepts are another story entirely.  They are pretty sick.

Yeah see I disagree with this.  I think the ability for BE's should still be there I just think it should require a gear or something.  AA's were a ticket to Gold matches for low level players initially.  If you could smack that phantom in stasis and warp/throw everything else you were golden.  Really more powerful than a lot of gun classes.  

However now the table is reversed.  Guns outstrip biotics by a fair clip.  There should be some type of gear or something that rewards players with stronger (see larger, faster, or stronger) BE's just like more PSP's offer better guns.




this also lmits low level people form playing gold. before a level 21N7 with a level 20 biotic could easily top a gold leaderboard, but now they can't

No i used shadowstrike to move around, watch the flanks and deal with hunter and phantoms and their likes, used my sword for damage and essentialy picked high priority targets and revived as well as objective running.

But what do i say, people keep telling me the only way i could had make my revenant work was with killstealing and that its recoil is unbearable

Old powers do about 400~700 damage without BE or TB.
New designed powers are doing 1000~2000 damages.
They know the weapon firepower is growing and and powers need to catch up.
I won't be surprised if Warp/Reave/OL/ED get buffed in near future.

Can you one hit kill pyros and hunters and such on platinum with your build? Not doubting here, just asking so i can maybe refine my build a bit, without all the work and dieing and stuff :P

Remember during the demo, when Stasis was Op and had the same cooldown as warp, I remember... good times...good times...
but in all seriousness it does feel like weapons have more of a use, though in their defense even biotics are evolving, like the fury who can set off her own BE's without a cooldown, and there's even the drell adept who doesn't really rely on cooldown as much as others because of Cluster Grenades and reave's short cooldown..

Suggestions:

2) Turian: Marksman turned into a mode, not a CD.  Conc. Shot damage buffed 25%.  Turians can now roll (for the love of God.....)

3) Krogan: Carnage damage needs buffed, Inferno Grenades are the second worst grenades next to Sticky.  Buff.

4) Batarian: They actually work OK.  Need to learn to roll or something, too.  Nobody specs Bladed Armor that I know on this guy since they'd rather use the Grenades and especially the Blades.

5) Vorcha: Carnage damage needs buffed.  Stop popping me out of cover to let me know you killed something.  Act like you've been there.  Also, since you don't need oxygen, stop pretending to breathe.  You make me clear my throat IRL.  These guys aren't bad, really just my general hatred of the vermin of the Galaxy.



umm fully disagree. the only soldier i don't care for is the krogan

human? 9 frag grenades plus adreline rush (auto reload 70% damage, and adss 100% shields) keeps you alive, creates a new shieldgate when yours is broke and gives you like 7 seconds of 70% damage increase w/o having to reload

turian marksman with ROF and accuracy boost? try it with the pirhanna, makes it like a crusader. damage is awesome plus the ROF takes down bosses fast as kell. also you can debuff them 1st with the prox mine

batarrian? balitic blades plsu inferno grenades = stagger and crowd control. phantoms don't stand a chance at all

vorca? flamer + reggard and health regen. wipes out anything.

also infernor are better then frag. you can killstreak with inferno grenades

now all they need to do is get lucky with the RNG and play a level 20 soldier.

i dunno....they would have to create requirements for difficulty levels to fix that kind of thing...nerfing and buffing stuff isnt the answer

I was thinking the same thing last night during platinum runs. A biotic explosion takes several attempts to bring down an atlas where a reegar/piranha/typhoon can do it in a couple of seconds. I don't think BEs are bad by any means but I would like to see them buffed slightly to be more competitive on platinum.

shadowstrike is far from worthless but no way can it keep up with some of the new classses pointwise unless the other players aren't very good

on gold you can one hit pahntoms if specced right. I haven't tried it on platinum. go full shadowstrike for damage, plus additional damage over time and damage increase to shield on sword, plus damage on tac claoch and melee amage on tac cloack. strength enhancer gear and weapon bonus. cloack then shadow strike pahntom and it dies after a second of finishing the strike with full barrier and health
