A couple of questions for more experienced players.

I'll point out specific issues below.
1) As I'll be playing as an evil bastard, my character will most be likely be interested in crown. Can he actually get it, not being a nobleman(but still a human)?
2) Is actually worth it to get Flame Weapon on my main hero or shouldn't I bother relying to Cold(or Ice, can't really remember) and wait those n levels and maybe get it on someone else or just leave it.
3) This is slightly tied to previous one. Even as Arcane Warrior I might still need some ranged(and powerful) attack. Is actually Blizzard now cost efficient or should I get acquained with, I don't know, maybe Fireball?
4) Is it possible to battle High Dragon, while siding with the cultist or not?
5) Should I choose to slay that vile beast and claim it's(her?) remains will I benefit more from scale or bone armour?
6) Is Mana Clash helpful(early or late) and cost efficient? I had some issues with spellcasters on current playthrough so I'm curious.
7) Is weakened Crushing Prison worth a look? A lot of people claim it's rubbish but my warrior died more than enough from it that I'm not quite sure about it...
8) Is "Improved Blood Magic", from some accessories and/or armour actually good? I have never bothered to check it, unfortunately...
I would also love to see some advice from fellow Arcane Warriors for both gameplay and roleplaying, not really related to issues above. Although I would not like to be ridiculously powerful, just powerful enough to see my opponents tremble in fear(KotOR II flashbacks...).
PS. I am relatively new to these forums, so excuse me if some of the issues I mentioned had already been explained in more detail somewhere else. I might have simply missed it.
Thank you in advance(and I'm glad you've read all that text above).

2) You can have your main cast flame weapon and morrigan cast ice weapon and they stack, making it worth it for me.
3) Fireball and that aoe blood magic spell are really good. instantaneous, aoe, and good effects.
4)idk
5) bone armor is really, really good. I don't know about scale armor.
6)Mana Clash is good to get as soon as you get it. It's useful throughout the entire game and with it, you'll never need a templar.
7) Crushing prison is always useful, but only if you have enough extra spell points to make it up the tree.
8)The blood magic accessories are very useful, one makes blood magic 25% cheaper.

I'm playing DA for the second time and I'm sure I'll do it at least twice more. I have finished as a mage and now I'm rolling with heavy hitting warrior. On my next playthrough I want to try the infamous Arcane Warrior & Blood Mage combo, but firstly I'd like to ask some of you for advice based of your own experience.
I'll point out specific issues below.
1) As I'll be playing as an evil bastard, my character will most be likely be interested in crown. Can he actually get it, not being a nobleman(but still a human)?
No. Mages cannot hold titles, and cannot be King or Queen. The Maker says that Magic exists to serve man, not rule over them.
2) Is actually worth it to get Flame Weapon on my main hero or shouldn't I bother relying to Cold(or Ice, can't really remember) and wait those n levels and maybe get it on someone else or just leave it.
Telekinetic Weapons is a good spell to go for, especially if you are going for Crushing Prison/Force Field. More Armor Penetration is never a bad thing.
3) This is slightly tied to previous one. Even as Arcane Warrior I might still need some ranged(and powerful) attack. Is actually Blizzard now cost efficient or should I get acquained with, I don't know, maybe Fireball?
Fireball requires less spec points, but if you want to do blizzard, you'll also then have Cone of Cold, which is handy for Crowd Control.
4) Is it possible to battle High Dragon, while siding with the cultist or not?
Yes, but you have to turn on the cultists after unlocking reaver.
5) Should I choose to slay that vile beast and claim it's(her?) remains will I benefit more from scale or bone armour?
Depends on how many skillpoints you have in Magic. The Heavy Dragonbone requires 38 Str, while the Massive Dragonbone requires 42. They are both very similar, the Massive having a slight edge on Armor, but they have the same stats overall.
6) Is Mana Clash helpful(early or late) and cost efficient? I had some issues with spellcasters on current playthrough so I'm curious.
Using your Arcane Warrior skills, you will have a massive amount of Fatigue. Casting spells costs a lot of mana... I don't know if I would bother casting Mana Clash at all.
7) Is weakened Crushing Prison worth a look? A lot of people claim it's rubbish but my warrior died more than enough from it that I'm not quite sure about it...
I like Crushing Prison if only for the Crowd Control it offers, while still doing damage. Force fielding every possible monster, and using sleep, crushing prison, cone of cold, walking nightmare, etc... endless # of CC possibilities.
8) Is "Improved Blood Magic", from some accessories and/or armour actually good? I have never bothered to check it, unfortunately...
It's basically like a set bonus... makes the Blood Magic effects more effective. Not much, but enough to help.
I would also love to see some advice from fellow Arcane Warriors for both gameplay and roleplaying, not really related to issues above. Although I would not like to be ridiculously powerful, just powerful enough to see my opponents tremble in fear(KotOR II flashbacks...).

If you look at my DA:O profile, and check out Neria... that is my Equipment for my Arcane Warrior. (Altough I chose to go Spirit Healer to stack up 3 healers for Wimpy little Alistair.)

2) Is actually worth it to get Flame Weapon on my main hero or shouldn't I bother relying to Cold(or Ice, can't really remember) and wait those n levels and maybe get it on someone else or just leave it.
It depends. Cold has all sorts of goodies already, and the Cold version of the weapon enchant does exactly the same amount of damage - however, undead are immune to Cold. Telekentic (as others have pointed out) is awesome, since you can get AP while using higher damage weapons.
3) This is slightly tied to previous one. Even as Arcane Warrior I might still need some ranged(and powerful) attack. Is actually Blizzard now cost efficient or should I get acquained with, I don't know, maybe Fireball?
I like Fireball because it's quick enough to get a cast off, but Blizzard is nice (and part of the awesome Cold spell line) especially since it doesn't Freeze your party members, so it's semi-safe to wade in.
6) Is Mana Clash helpful(early or late) and cost efficient? I had some issues with spellcasters on current playthrough so I'm curious.
Mana Clash can obliterate enemy mages - I find it awesome. Hunting the maleficarium in the forest, only one successfully saved and the other three died. Revenants and other high ranking folks tend to resist - however it tends to kill certain spirit/demons in one smack too. I love it.
7) Is weakened Crushing Prison worth a look? A lot of people claim it's rubbish but my warrior died more than enough from it that I'm not quite sure about it...
I remain a fan of it, especially since it's in the chain with Mind Blast, Force Field, and TK weapon anyways, which are awesome. Force Field is rather interesting for me, the enemy often manage to stick my tank in a Prison before Mana Clash wipes them out - so I pull everybody back and toss Force Field on him, giving a nice opener prior to melee, hehe.
Personally, I got really bored of my AW - having to toggle it all the time to cast spells then switch to autoattack, I gave up on that character and made a rogue to stabbity things. <_<

I'm asking is additional defence from bone armour worth the additional fatigue or is it insignificant compared to all sustainables.
Oh, and to Dagorgil about "magic serving man", Maker can shove it...

...however Arcane Warrior is useful to be able to boost up your armor by using some of the higher tiered/armored boots & gloves; a robe really still being essential for any mage.
From what I can tell however, melee is really the most reliable way to be dealing damage, which is not really viable for a mage / arcane warrior...so you are best off taking spirit healer and turning yourself into a buff-o-bot!

Kolgrim's Horn? I summoned it with the stupid Gong I find on the hill. Might be just console version, but hey, it's pretty cool.
That is console version. In PC version you have to get the horn from Kolgrim.
I sided with Kolgrim this time in aside saved game to get Reaver spec and he never let the dragon attack me. Since those guys think the dragon is Andraste reborn, it makes sense that you can only hurt the dragon over their dead bodies.

I don't make the rules. But it doesn't change the fact that Mages can't get to the throne in the game.Beniowski wrote...

But back on the topic, Death Syphon seems like an excellent spell on paper, but does it prove itself useful, I want to check Walking Bomb anyway, so that's why I ask.
And to summarize, there a way to turn on Kolgrim after destroying the Ashes, right?

However, Virulent Walking Bomb does excellent damage. I had a lot of fun placing it in the middle of a bunch of archers. It's also very good when you're confident you have healing under control. Then you can ignore the friendly fire and just get some good extra damage. I did blow up my party members a few times (not as much as you'd think), but when I did everything else died as well.
The explosion part never gets old.

I was not able to verify this personally, but you do get the experience normally when an animated creature or ranger's pet kills enemy or not?

I'd say the animation spell in itself is not all that useful, but Virulent Walking Bomb is.
