You could make the main story 50% harder and I wouldn't mind, as long as Marauder Shields didn't get buffed as well.
Is it possible to add another difficulty setting to SP?

Speaking of Marauders.
What on Earth is that weird Canibal buffing ability it has?
Why do Marauders stand still whilst they're peforing their unique abilities.
Raise arm, weird animation ensues.
Canibal gets plates?
Whatever that animation is supposed to do, it just makes Marauder's easier to kill.
I'm serious. Whilst they're standing still doing their thing, they're not shooting at the player and instead getting shot.
Also when Canibals are eating dead husks, those precious seconds give us players plenty of time to gun them down.
Can't the Marauder at the very least do his silly buff (that takes ages) out of sight so that they don't get gunned down?
Can't the Canibal wait before eating corpses (so that they don't get gunned down)?
I swear, Marauders and Canibals have some pretty daft AI.
No intelligent gamer would mimic their strategy.

if they dont add a platinum difficulty i wont care as much if they knock the shieldgate down to like 90% on insanity

This isn't Call of Duty so why should they? I find it hard enough I know I'm not a hard core gamer. I don't like seeing them making mass effect looking like a first person shooter. Your platinum difficulty is Insane. If they did add I would want them too add fun mode for Multiplayer. I'm personally getting tired of people want Mass Effect to be a kids and call of poopy game when this is Mass Effect!! A RolePlaying game and Third Person Shooter.
