I used the krysae for a round of farming last weekend, and thought it was plenty nerfed enough with the slow reloads. I'm glas that character cards give you more xp when you get them on a PSP. Always annoying when you get an common or an uncommon character card out of PSP.

I like how people the Krysae useless now. You realize that, like the Falcon, the gun was hilariously OP before. An explosive weapon with a fast rate of fire, lots of ammo, and unlike other SRs, no hip-fire damage penalty?

The current Falcon is far from useless, it just takes more skill to use it than just mashing the fire button till everything is ragdolling. Same with the Krysae.

And I saw the Typhoon nerf coming a mile away. Use it with the Devastator or a turian soldier with Marksman and well, you get the idea.

Woh, the poor krysae. Once I get home I must see how badly it was changed. It was awesome on trash. but I hated using that gun in the Big Enemies. But a couple awesome fixes to the packs, and hopefully the end of rocket glitching.

I don't have the typhoon yet, But as long as it still penetrates It sounds pretty sweet still.

I lol'd at the Krysae nerf. I never even used it in the first place, and now it looks like I never will - that thing is a PoS now.

Clearly you didn't play before they removed head shots to boss types. Lol, they aren't even HALF as good as they used to be, not too mention the TC nerf. Anyone still using a SR on an Infiltrator is not using it to the best of it's ability. Or did you just say that to argue a point that is so obvious that you are just trolling?

Wasn't the Krysae only really useful on FBW? Higher difficulties/being used by someone whose not an Infiltrator/big levels with enemies far apart made it somewhat average?

Now it has been nerfed into oblivion. It's such ashame.

Also why didn't you buff the Destroyers Missiles? Like you nerfed the Typhoon and that came out in the same DLC, so it can't be that it's too early to make changes to it.

I was obviously speaking of Gold/PLat, not Bronze or Silver, I have a BW X and it couldn't outscore my reload cancel Claymore X on it's best day now.

Recoil isn't much of an issue since you hardly need to aim the thing.

Rate of fire was decreased to a bit more than half of what it was, but the shots stagger, so that's not really an issue either.


The issue is getting TC damage bonus not lasting long enough.
Fire-rate-nerfs nerf damage more than the damage-nerf nerfs damage.

I will mention again, the things they buff, I hardly see much difference.  The Collector assault rifle they buffed three times, but its still worthless.   However, when they "balance" an item that you spent a lot of PSP in order to get, it seems like it hurts a lot more.    I have Indra at 9, Javelin at X, BW at 9, etc and the damage reduction they did on TC reduced the damage I could do with all those weapons.

So numerically there might be more buffs, gameplay-wise there have been more nerfs for me.

Why are people complaining about the Typhoon nerf anyway? Unless the primary tactic for most people is to shoot the Typhoon through thick walls, it's not going to affect how good it is, I mean it still has its innate 50% armor piercing (aka reduce the effectiveness of enemy armor). .25 meters is still good enough to penetrate Guardian shields and thin cover, and last I saw most people shoot the Typhoon against enemies outside walls anyway.

Don't you think you've overdone the Krysae a bit? Now it only works as a support weapon, but the Falcon does that job to a better extent.

No, not trolling. Totally serious. And you're right about the bosses. My Infiltrator is obviously no boss-killer and is not supposed to be one. Nevertheless, SRs won't die, ever.
