I don't play infil, and this nerf killed the weapon. Might as well delete it, along with the kishok, because there's literelly no reason to use either weapons now.


i remember the day when my kishock would 3 shot a prime on gold.

The uncommon should pop more still
3 psps in a row and just level 4 crap.
After the second DLC I got this stuff in veteran packs much less the spectres

Now it's more ammo 4 and guys how about a +3 for something that costs so much. Really!

LOL. 

The  Kishock is still a good weapon if you can deal with leading shots and gravity and the Krysea isn't as worthless as you make it out to be. 
I agree, though, that it didn't need all that.

 Really, BSN is a perfect demonstration of how much blind people like to be.


I have. They increase the damage of a couple ARs by about 10 points. Awesome. But where's the increases for the sniper rifles that were damaged during the TC nerf? Where's the buffs for the SMGs that are badly needed while we wait for the ULM fix that's been promised since the first patch? How about before you go calling somebody blind, you take your own advice and read with attention. There are so many things that need buffs right now, go read GodlessPaladin's balance thread. Yet what we're getting is weapon nerfs to the good weapons, buffs to the enemies, etc.


Same day as the tactical cloak nerf:
Javelin Sniper Rifle
- Encumbrance decreased from [3.0-2.4] to [2.7-2.4]

Black Widow Sniper Rifle
- Encumbrance decreased from [2.5-2.0] to [2.3-2.0]

Indra Sniper Rifle
- Encumbrance decreased from [1.25-0.7] to [1.0-0.7]

We probaly will see more buffs, just not now.

SMGs got a new powerful stability mod, try it. Locust deserve some love though, I will give you that..
The ULM fix will come, it's clear from bioware posts that we will see a patch soon

and it's almost 6 buffs for every nerf =)


Those are just the UR sniper rifles, and the Javelin was nerfed far more than it was buffed (fairly certain in one of the first balance changes they dropped its spare ammo capacity to 5.) Couple that with the fact that those buffs were only to help the people that don't have them at higher levels (overall the weight didn't change, just the starting weight) and you get a very small buff. They still need help.

With the SMGs, the stability mod is great and I didn't say it wasn't. But weapons like the Locust need help. Not all SMGs are in need of buffs, the Hurricane for example is perfect where it's at. But weapons like the Locust, the Tempest, etc. Could use a bump.

I wanna make this clear as reading through my previous post (which was made out of frustration, so my point got a bit muddled) I realized it may have given off the wrong vibe. I know they're not nerfing constantly. The problem I have is right now, at the moment, we need buffs. To classes and weapons. They should do the buffs first, then figure out what needs to be nerfed. That way the nerfs don't hit as hard.


I agree that sniper rifle could use a little buff, but I can't stand to the constant threads and posts full of hyperboles, trying to make it look like snipers are with 0 damage and completely useless because of constant nerfings, which is not truth. It's unbalanced, but not nerfed to "uselessland", like most people say.

About SMG:
- Hornet is awesome, give it a try. I'm using in my human engineer, Hornet + overload = death falling upon my enemies.

- I used a lot the tempest, but always with a pistol for armor, it could use a buff, but it isn't that needed.

- Hurricane I don't have =( but it's more than clear that she is good, by seeing other players using it.

- Geth SMG fall into the same situation as the tempest, could use a buff, but she is not that bad (actually I use it as secondary weapon in almost every build, because of the ULM working on her).

- The locust definitely need a buff, then another buff to be sure... then another one.

- Shuriken is common, so I think she s*ck on purpose.

If only you had nerfed the Krysae to oblivion before you nerfed infiltrators...

Oh, it only took months to figure out how to stop missile glitchers? Congrats.

homing grenades do not need a decrese. have you played platinum and used them on a big boss? they barely do anything. they need to track better too. too many times they hit a cieling


The game is balanced around Gold. They do quite a bit of damage on Gold.


I'm gonna guess you'll also want a shadow nerf as well?

So i used medi-gel then when i got back up i could not stop my Typhoon from firing. As I said in your post, that is an uncommon bug related to lag. Swap to your second weapon or to the missile launcher and it will resolve itself.

I love how all the krysae haters always mention its small AE radius, but never, ever, under any circumstances, not with a gun to their head will they mention the fact that it's the only sniper rifle that doesn't headshot.

You want uncommons, and you're buying PSPs. Seriously? Do the math. The first slot is guaranteed to be 5 CML, MG, TCP, or OSP. The last two slots are guaranteed to be rares or ultra rares. You then have two slots that are split between expendable gear, common & uncommon character cards, a slight chance for rares and possibly ultra rares, and finally the new uncommon gear. And you said you just got lvl 4 expendable gear? So, what, you're expecting an uncommon to be in a slot that's literally guaranteed to be rare or better?

i ususly play U/U/G and last night in 8 hours i didn't get rio or vancouver once yet i got london and condor a cmobined 8 times. more then half my games on 2 maps and I think there are like 8-9 total maps. WTF randon location my ass


My friends and I also play U/U/G and, while the maps changed frequently, we didn't get Geth as an enemy until about the 7th match. It was right when we switched from a tech to a biotic squad...

No, why would I?


I'd guess because it seems from your posts that you won't be happy until bronze is harder than platinum is now.  Heaven forbid player power creep keeps up with CPU power creep with things like banshees learning phantoms' immuity bubble or pretty much the entire geth faction and their super accuracy, cloak seeing, stunlocking, 5 mile long flamethrowers, firing while staggered, ect. ect. ect.

both of them need to be overpowered by 9000. Regardless of class usage, Excellent DPS  for all. I am all for good weapon buffs.

What's the point of ever using the Krysae again? It takes too long to fire out rounds, and my reward for patiently waiting is damage that's too miniscule to merit any near-death experience I get from advancing enemies.

This used to be my favorite gun, now I'll never again use it. I don't understand why a Banshee is overpowered and allowed to pull me to my doom from halfway across the map, yet I can't seem to play with a decent gun for more than a couple of weeks before you guys decide to "balance" it and ruin the experience.

Been playing all night and haven't seen a single silver gear item from spectre packs.

Also good job on making the krysae a pointless weapon for every class when you should have been doing stuff like buffing the other snipers and crap ultra rares like the prothean particle rifle. Now I don't care about the krysae but wouldn't it be better to make some o the crap weapons good rather than nerfing the good ones? Krysae wasn't really all that great anymore anyway, now it's just a waste of space.

Oh well at least the rocket glitch is gone, and the instant firing rockets are nice.

Of course, nerf a perfectly fine UR weapon into oblivion because a trolling minority found it to shred it's way through BRONZE in the hands of highly skilled players.

In other news, all ultra rare assault rifles should be nerfed whenever they are performing as they should be. No ultra rare AR should, under any circumstance, have a performance level exceeding the Avenger.

Thank you, BioWare, for perfectly understanding what assault rifles do. In ME3, evidently nothing.

I have a love/hate relationship with this balance update. The krysae was already nerfed to the point where it was good, but not fantastic. Now this patch turns it into another falcon, a gun not worth using. It wasn't balanced, it was killed.

That being said, I am extremely happy that you guys put 250k xp back into character trainings. I'm very happy to see that my post and other people's post didn't fall on deaf ears. So thank you very much.

Clearly you didn't play before they removed head shots to boss types. Lol, they aren't even HALF as good as they used to be, not too mention the TC nerf. Anyone still using a SR on an Infiltrator is not using it to the best of it's ability. Or did you just say that to argue a point that is so obvious that you are just trolling?


Or maybe your just simply not as good as you thought you were.


Or maybe I am aware that using a shotgun such as a Claymore on an Infiltrator is now much more effective in ALL aspects instead of any of the sniper rifles.

Not too mention you don't even have the Unwavering Achivement, so who are you to randomly throw insults like that?
