Really? Superpowered guns like the Typhoon and the Piranha make it into the game (one of them got buffed, btw) and the Krysae gets nerfed into oblivion?!? How has that got anything to do with "balance"?!? The krysae isn't even such a good gun anymore, now we don't even have any good sniper rifle!!!

Ever tried to kill something with less than 4 shots from pirahna on distance longer than 10 meters?

The problem with Krysae was that it didn't require aim, just you saw enemies so you fired a shot somewhere around it, not directly

Yes, I am routinely getting 10+ headshot medal with piranha without even trying to aim for the head. And take down medium sized enemies (e.g. pyro) often with 1 shot from distance.

OTOH, you are right about the Krysae, the problem with it has always been the proximity detonation, i.e.
1. NOT the damage, which was nerfed
2. NOT the fire rate, which was nerfed
3. NOT the ammo amount, which was nerfed
4. NOT the recoil, which was nerfed

So the only problematic feature of it remains activae you STILL do not need to aim it, but its DPS is now on par with the Eagle, i.e. useless.

So, they get right on the missile glitch, but not on ULM for SMG's that hasnt worked since day 1?

One interferes with Bioware's money flow, the other just impacts the way people play.

Guys seriously, the krysae hasn't even been nerfed that badly.

Instead of putting 1800 damage downrange in one clip, it now does 1650. Big deal.

Recoil isn't much of an issue since you hardly need to aim the thing.

Rate of fire was decreased to a bit more than half of what it was, but the shots stagger, so that's not really an issue either.

im sure people have said this, but Bioware has said fixing ULM requires a full on patch. It'll be fixed later in the week, hopefully

Good job fixing the missile glitch...

Krysae is over nerfed I'm only using it as a backup now to stun enemies like phantoms but with that heavy of a nerf it wont but much use now. I wont be surprised to see this gun just die now.

Typhoon: Cries.... 1/4 the penetration is a bit much maybe 50% less but 75% less is a bit excessive. This was the best balanced UR AR there was for everything it had there were many draw backs to balance it (Super heavy weight and spool up time that gets reset when hit).

Yay, more nerfs.

Now time to nerf the new classes. The Destroyer and the others are way OP.

Uh no each n7 class works the way they are suppose to perform I don't think any of them need nerfing O_O

Yes, the new classes work, in fact they work too well. The new classes are OP (except for the Paladin).
I think that they need to nerf them.
They also need to nerf the Reegar Carbine & N7 Piranah in the next update.

Shut up

The N7 Are The Elite Forces of Earth why would earths greatest warriors need nerfs now think about that for a second and catch back with me

Yes they are N7, but they are OP. I'm sure that Bioware will nerf them like they always do. Let's wait and see what happens.

How are they OP?

Fury: Has low shields and is a CQC Adept specializing in BEs.
Destroyer: Has high shields but no skill that gives him DR and has a damage increase mode like every other Soldier and one of his skills is completely useless
Demolisher: Only powers are grenades and ammo/grenade regeneration every 10-15 seconds. Low health is both grenades and N7 Demolisher passive are used. Relies heavly on ammo boxes for grenades, as Supply Pylon requires you to wait a while and camp in one location to use it effectively.
Paladin: Meh health, with a short range attack and can get some shields back with Energy Drain. Cannot move with his shield out.
Shadow: A CQC Infiltrator with very low health, but is very effective in melee combat.
Slayer: Less effective in melee combat than the Slayer, but still decent in it. Can get higher shields, but Phase Disrupter uses them up and(from what I understand) does meh damage as well. Dioitc Slash does decent damage, but has a long animation with no DR.

I fail to see where a nerf is needed.

Buff tactical cloak sniper damage or buff all other sniper rifles now please. Most of them now suck. Shotguns pistols and ultrarare ars and grenades are now best... agreed that the typhoon nerf was unnecessary due to being a soldier weapon and soldiers are definately not overused at present.

However infiltrators get suckier with each balance change. Constant nerf are really aggravating. Also thus stomp them when theyre down thing is going to male gold and plat much more annoying. I hate being in spectator mode. Stomps and instakills are dumb and annoying mechanics imo.

And technically the Cobra was massively nerfed in the process of fixing the glitch. How can you make such good news and pour crap all over it?

The Cobra was not nerfed at all. It is now significantly better than it was, as there's no delay before firing the first shot.

so after a week of playing with my typhoon it gets its penetration nerfed? I bet I won't be able to penetrate a pillow with it now.

At least you got a week out of it - most of us don't even have one yet.  I'm pretty much tired of grinding and seeing stuff made more useless as the days go by...  just a matter of how long do we have before what works now/today be made useless?

To me, as a whole, the nerfs have made ME3 is a lot more boring and less fun.  I'd rather they focus on buffs...  like its so irritating to play my constantly staggered against Geth Krogan Sentinel.  Everyone that ones to play a Krogan just has to use the Kroguard only?!

They absolutly do not need a nerf and I will be severly PO-ed if Bioware listens to the nonsensical whiners
Stop screaming for nerfs<_<  Most of these losers are probably more worried about topping the scoreboad

I hope that the stomps don’t make things too complicated… but again, there aren’t many troops on platinum, so I think I’ll be ok.

Congratulations on the missile fix, I didn’t see anyone doing it, but from what I see on BSN is pretty annoying, those n00bs should go back to a real challenge fit them or just quit playing.

About the Krysae nerf… I have not much to say about it, since nether me or my friends play with that for some time (after the first nerf).

Krysae nerfed again. What are we getting for the next ultra rare? A rubber chicken to beat an Atlas to death with?
Are you going to nerf the infiltrator again, you might as well because all they are now is support for other players. Better still rename the infiltrator to medic and have done with it!

The missle news is fantastic, I can finally try and actually beat platinum now. I've gotten to wave ten before wiping, but ever time I've tried since I've hit a glitcher.

Also, can you now switch to the missle and fire before a banshee can kill a teammate easily? Before sometimes you'd be too late, depending on lag.

Good work!! This was a much needed patch! I'm happy that you manage to find a way to stop the missile glitch plague.

With all do respect, I'll also take the opportunity to let you know of some things I think should require a look at... (some of these, you probably already know about or are working to fix right now)

- All original fully automatic weapons (AR, pistols, snipers) are not viable on higher difficulty levels
- Biotics are now weaker than standart weapons (piranha, harrier, krysae, typhoon, etc)... Does'nt make sense as biotics are more frail than their soldier counterparts.
- Biotic charge when you are not the host is still glitchy
- Banshees sinc kills (magnet hands) are extremely frustrating
- Revival insta-killing (we need a 1/2 second just so we can at least roll, dodge, sidestep, run out of danger)
- Krogan slow and constant stagger (In my opinion, melee and missiles should be the only thing that could stagger them)
- Turian unable to sidestep / roll
- The destroyer's damage output should not be the cause of weapon nerfing... it's the other way around
- Ammo boxes should give more grenades and ammo overall. Some levels like firebase Rio give plenty... but others like firebase condor's ammo boxes don't give enough.

These are personnal opinions! Feel free to let me know what you think and why certain things are as they are. Thank you and have a nice day! Keep up the good work!

:D

Shhh. Don't tell the non-BSN PuGs about the rocket glitch fix. Just play along. :P
Please do not nerf any new classes, I have outscored the N7 Destroyer with HS and could probably do the same with Engineer. Each has its own unique benefits and drawbacks, and one could argue that a buff could be just as likely...maybe
