Thoughts On The Krysae Nerf?

I prefer that they nerfed it, even if overdone, since it really was too good, considering you don't exactly needed to be a sniping god to be extremely effective with it.

That fact that you said that, proves you don't play infiltrator. Coz all the other sniper rifles have been utter dog turd ever since Bioware removed headshot damage from bosses. Essentially snipers were punished for being good at aiming with regular sniper rifles.
Then came along the Krysae. Something which did about as much damage to bosses as headshotting used to do to them. Go figure every sniper started using the Krysae. It was the only damned effective sniper rifle left!
Now even the Krysae has been turned into a useless POS because it can't fire fast enough to keep u alive anymore in Gold/Plat.
Snipers also had their TC evolution 6 nerfed (sniper rifle damage nerfed by 15%). And base cloak got nerfed to 4 seconds. The entire class is not doing what it should be (sniping). All the decent players have switched to shotguns because they are the only weapons worth using now on Gold/Plat. Soldiers of course have Typhoon and Harrier for those difficulties but that is besides the point.
Sniping is as dead as a Dodo now and as far as Bioware is concerned, its not coming back.

i wont say its dead in gold but in plat no infiltrator will use a SR when a Shotty is so much better

On the contrary - Bioware could change its rate of fire in next week's balance changes. All they have to do is amend a few numbers again.

Good. I was sick of ending up in matches with three Salarian Infiltrators who were worthless when they had to defend themselves in close quarters against multiple Phantoms because they were only carrying a Widow. Plus it's boring to play like that. Activate cloak. Use ED. Fire shot. Repeat. Where's the fun in that? I get more joy out of using an infiltrator with a shotgun and getting stealthy melee kills or attaching sticky grenades after closing in on a group of enemies.
My thoughts on the Krysae... equip it to a Turian Soldier. With Marksman on, the weapon performs almost exactly the way it did before the nerf.

That being said I still like AoE weapons for my Demolisher. Scorpion/Krysae /Falcon type. I mostly have used the Scorpion for the weight.... Don't think I'd swap it for the Krysae at this point.

Earth nerf seems inevitable now that the ball is rolling. Personally, I'd rather see that they make some of the older classes slightly more relevant. Glitched chill combo is the most glaring one, but some of the older rares that are complete garbage (GPR, Disciple et. al.) really need attention. I'd love to see a Vanguard fix, but it seems like it would be impossible within the current mechanics of the game. While I won't be completely indignant if (when?) Earth stuff is nerfed, gimping the new content after such a short time while ignoring all of the other crap that has stayed crap for such a long time is pretty insulting. They did right by the Human Soldier, Hurricane, Saber, Tech Armor, Blade Armor and whatnot, hopefully they'll pull through for fire/ice, D tier Rares, Pull, Singularity, general melee, the Wraith etc.

Firstly I'd like to say that Annelos sound like a PvP player trying to play a PvE CoOp. Kill stealing isn't possable in a CoOp. "Period"
Second I'd like to say that this last nerf was way over the top... The gun is basically useless now. Unable to OSK a canibal on bronze. (tested more than once with a GI Sniper spec)
Dafuq?!?!? The Viper does better now, especially as you can actually get headshots with it...
