i just redownloaded the game to Origin since it wasnt installing regularly, and in the main menu it says all of my dlc content is unauthorized. The only one that isnt is Awakening. Am i missing something here? i just want to play dragonage!

I'm not near my games computer, so I'm going from memory...
From the Main Menu select the Downloadable Content.
Check the Download in Progress tab to see if they've installed.
Also, make sure you're logged-in from inside the game.

Have you tried shutting down and logging out of everything (game and Origin) and then restarting them again? Last time I started up DAO I had to do this to get them to acknowledge that they were authorized.

If I'm reading your first post correctly it sounds like you had the discs, but downloaded it from Origin this time because the discs didn't work. You might want to check your email to see if you were issued new DLC activation codes.

Yes i tried redownloading it with the discs first because somehow my files got corrupted and that failed so i downloaded it off origin. I checked my email and i did not get anything at all. This is so confusing lol

Probably going to need to contact an EA game advisor.
If it were me I'd do one more thing before contacting an advisor (if I hadn't done it already)...

- Log-out and shut down DAO.
- Shut down Origin.
- Probably restart my computer. (just to cover that base)
- Delete my DAO profile file. (If I remember correctly it's in the My Documents -- Bioware -- Dragon Age Origin file)
- Restart and log-in to both Origin and DAO.
- If they don't authorize after all that I'd contact a Game Advisor.

Menu at the top of this website. Games > Dragon Age: Origins > Game Patches
Or use the link in the post at the top of the forums that says "Patch 1.05 is now official"

I had this exact same issue, lol. Too bad it didn't auto-update to 1.05
