I've played a few of the ME tracks while playing multiplayer, but it got distracting, haha. I tend to actually listen to the music rather than focus on playing. I'm weird. x3Kyerea wrote...
@SgtPepper Music is a must for me in online games, keeps me in the zone so to speak.

Also, the band Kidneythieves has always been a solid choice for gaming music for me. They have some older stuff up on youtube, from their first few albums. If anyone is interested in the later stuff check out their website - they started releasing albums independently after they rejoined each other a few years back.
Agonist is a good fit for this sort of gaming as well... in fact going to put them on the playlist next, now that I'm thinking about it... >.>

Lol, I understand the feeling, I tend to keep classical/symphonic music off my playlists since I start to space-out during my game sessions when it pops on. Really distracting for me lol.
MC Front has some really catchy yet simple lyrical prose in his flow lol.
MC Frontalot - Goth GIrls
I converted Edward Gorey's lettering into a typeface, befriended vampires on LJ and Myspace, even put that spooky echo filter on the bass...but I can't talk to Goth Girls I just stare and stammer, my name is MC frimmer-frammer-frammer...and damn her if she giggles, damn her double if she laughs, Goth girls like it when you double-damn it twice fast.

That is an amazing selection. Dear X is one of my current favorite songs. If you haven't already, you should check out Red, Decyfer Down, Ashes Remain and Anthem Lights.
I'm listening to atm.
