 Hi,
I've been having this bug where the conversation script selection search box is cut off from the screen.
(I just made an account and can't add photo's so here is a link to the screencap.)
postimage.org/image/vmo2arqop/
I've tried pretty much all compatability settings from window's 95 to XP 3 and vista.  I'm currently running it on window's seven 64 bit OS and I have updated all my drivers.  I've changed the settings in the toolset and even through the main folder's.  I've tried changing the computer's display and that did not help.  I uninstalled and reinstalled and once again, it did nothing.  Maybe I'm missing something obvious but I would be increadibly greatful if anyone could help me
:crying:

The weird thing is I can still type (as in if I write "ga_j" it will come up with results for that) but I can't see what I'm typing even if make the toolset smaller or move it down farther of the screen.

this is a long shot

This one has come up once or twice.

Q: Help! My toolbars are gone!
Q: Help! My other windows are gone!
A: Click on the View menu and choose Options.... On the left side, choose Windows. Click the Reset button, then click OK. Close the toolset, and reopen it.

If this doesn't correct the issue, or if your menu bar is gone, close the toolset. Open up Windows Explorer, and paste this text into the Address bar:

Windows XP: %USERPROFILE%\\Local Settings\\Application Data
Windows Vista: %USERPROFILE%\\AppData\\Local

Hit Enter. From there, delete the folder named NWN2 Toolset. That will reset everything for when you next launch the toolset

re-installing would have done the same thing, so it's up to you if you want to risk losing those settings ( again ) Sry.

You might have better luck hunting through windows/win7-64 websites; i think could be some quirk in your OS

Is that screenie from a 16:9 aspect ratio display? Perhaps the toolset was written for the 5:4 aspect ratio?

What resolution are you using? I remember this problem on my laptop, but not on my desktop.

That may be the problem...same resolution on my laptop...that dialog box size might be hard coded and our resolutions are too small.

What resolution are you using on the desktop that can run this properly?

Mine does that all the time on my laptop and I thought it was normal and never worried about it. You can still select the scripts or scroll down and if it's a custom script just type in the first couple of letters and selecting it does the trick.

I haven't got a clue what resolution I have on the laptop as I'm on my pc but the 1366 x 768 seems to sound familiar.

I was looking and looking at the picture, trying to figure out what problem he was talking about...
Ha, I guess I've had the problem since 2006. I never even knew there was supposed to be a box :)
