Every person i came across always used   "pre record films on loop or  pictures of a dog  as an attack basis in their threads  or as a mocking Gesture   which is why i said "insulting"

ah  sorry  for   Assuming that it was  an attack based  Vid i get to many of them from kids to be honest  its rather annoying to be honest but  i get enjoyment out of people who  don't believe me any way its rather funny that they do that   their loss my gain to be honest.  im just  trying to explain what my load is when i am over seas if they don't want to believe it or any one else for that matter fine  but its not like i can tell them that  Some Miltaries allow you  to choose your load out instead of  "standard equipment"  i don't go on stealth missions  if i do its dif load out with  Silenced weapons.

Sweety if i was Angry    their would be allot of cussing but is their in any of my  posts aside from "damn"?   no their isn't  on top of the person i got mad at wouldn't be online anymore due to a virus that crashes their computer  and basically makes them  rebuild their computer or  making them spend 300 Dollars or more just to get a brand new one. hell if i wanted to i could ban the users  IP Address  from the internet   i've done it to aallot of my ex friends   any one on here wouldn't be the first  that i would of done it to. but i'm done arguing with a child  since its obviously what you are..

Im not here to judge tho, but since Im a nice person a want to help you... you might want to think WHY is it so much ppl react to your writing in this way. I asure you it's not because rest of the world are children as you obviously think.

They Still are kinda  OP tho if you pop a Particle rifle on a Geth Infiltrator with ROF  increase and weapon damage its  like bam  inf inf inf  so to speak  but  eh i don't mind it really  i don't see allot of people  running with the particle beam any way much

 I havent played platnium with my snipers yet, but the widow 1 performed well enough on gold for me, still total BS my AA can kill single mooks and elite mooks about as fast while having unlimited ammo, no need to aim, and AoE, but whos complaning? Oh thats right its me.

at least I get tons of points from chain-reviving my team, of course I cann't do that as well now. (seriously the only time I used that extra duration was reviving, I dunno why they wanted to nerf that of all things.

seemed like it  any way.. and sorry for being a bit "snippy"  that i'll admit to  i haven't been able to sleep much lately   so i  am kind of  out of it today   and i think i'll need to get to sleep soon  probaly go  to sleep when my kids go  to bed.

Infil. in ME1 had two archetypes, the commando (sniper and gunslinger, a spec-ops warrior) and operative (gunslinger and techie, a super spy)

ME2 was essentially the same however with significantly more focus on the idea that the infiltrator was the best marksman to ever live, able to always make calculated and precise shoots. Agent play style wasn't taken seriously by most. but from a hybrid of it and the Assassin came a player-made archetype called the CQC infiltrator, I personally just started with it at the time to avoid running dry of sniper ammo but it didn't take long for specialized builds to be formed and the infiltrator was married to the shotgun.... for some.

but the sniper rifle is still the defining tool of the infiltrator to some.

Agreed which is why i say that   it doesn't matter which weapon you use every one  likes different load outs.

Infiltrators had also the duty to snipe the heads of the bosses and tactical cloak gave them the chance to take those 2 seconds unseen that were needed to aim better

I think you can play any Mass Effect class in at least 2 ways
But Bioware is messing everything lately

Yeah I want to play my infiltration in the way that the whole enemy team with their homing weapons doesn't switch to me once I am shadow striking after being cloaked (2 powers too). It's ridiculous... Geth are especially able when it comes to that.

The Widow is "viable" (as in can complete a game on any difficulty) on any class, ffs.

It's not optimal, but it can work. People need to quit confusing those terms.

If you think, the solution of the sniper Infiltrators bad damage is changing to other weapon classes, get out of this thread.
If you think, you can share false informations to us and then flame all the players, who are right, get ouf this thread.

Even the best Sniper Rifles like the Valiant, Black Widow, Widow or the Indra sucks in comparision to a majority of shotguns, some Assault Rifles and most pistols in terms of damage and weight cooldown. Considering this, at least the SRs themselves need a major buff, to compete with other weapons.

Infiltrators don't need to b snipers to b good infiltrators. Getting behind the enemy and causing a cross fire kill box is just one way to use them well. Standing in one spot cloaking and firing a sniper round isn't really infiltrating, that's a sniper and this game has no sniper class. People chose to use infiltrators because of the bonus and being invisible allowed u to line up your shot. A soldier with AR is just as good at being a sniper h..l for that matter I played with a BS carrying a widow that was pretty effective he can handle close combat if anyone gets close and with the widows power he was popping heads. Shotguns, assault rifles heck even pistols are better if u are an INFILTRATOR then a sniper rifle. When your in the military they don't have you infiltrate a enemy strong hold then set up camp and snipe they have you infiltrate eliminate the targets and get out while snipers cover you

I've always used a shotgun with the infiltrator so I don't care about the nerf to the 6th evo of cloak.  If they nerf the cloak damage again or the claymore I will be so ****ing pissed off.

Would you give an Infiltrator an Indra, Widow, Black Widow or the Valiant (UR, N7) or a Claymore (Rare) or Piranha (Rare)? The answer is very obvious. Due to this, Sniper Rifles are the most unrewarding weapons among the game, and through this, Sniper Infiltrators sucks big time.
