Why so selfish??  Just because you have everything doesn't mean everyone around you does...  By not extracting what are you saving like 2 or 3 minutes??  big deal, sorry to inconvenience you...

Not playing through the extraction is like playing battlefield or COD just for credits/exp to level up and not caring about whether you lose or the other team whipes the floor with you... 

Remember when games used to be about completing the game and the objectives?  Did you stop playing the single player once you reached the highest level?

Wrong.  The selfish people are the silly ones trying to extract.  

And let's not even get started on your math... You think your only going to save 2-3 minutes?  Try 5 per match.  Assuming 4 matches a day thats over an hour or 3 more platinum matches for me.  Why would anyone be stupid enough to think extracting makes sense when you could do 3 platinum games (or 3 gold/silver what have you) in less time than it would take you to extract all weekend?

Not to mention there is the disconnects.  Why would I want to stay getting paid and risk losing all exp and credits on a dc?  Especially when you get nothing for extracting.

Talk about an excercise in futility.

Point of clarification:
Squad Goal MUST have at least one member from the Earth DLC pack to count towards the squad goal.
Allied Goal does not require a member form Earth. You can have Earth characters, but they are not required.

 This event sounds like a lot of fun! I really enjoy playing the Earth DLC characters.  Thanks to Bioware for continuing to have these Events and the countdown clock at the top of the forums is a fantastic idea.  Looking forwarding to playing this weekend.

Non-extractors can kiss my arse as I kite around for the extraction time, wasting a further 3 mins of their life. Oh the humanity.......

That question has appeared numerous times, not yet seen it answered. I am not holding my breath for one.

I think the safe thing to do is play one game against reapers with an earth character in the squad. That will get the squad goal. After that take your pick.

Would it be possible to give a live credits earned feed? I'm curius to know how many credits are earned during the events? Also would it be possible to to change the rare card to an ultra rare if we have all earth characters maxed? I have a feeling a lot of people are going to get a rare ammo or armor.

Thank you Chris for Allied goal info.
Think the clocks a nice idea saves a lot of hassle for us mortals trying to convert the time zone.
I added an extra clock to my task bar showing Pacific time just to make life easy.

Awesome.  That gives me a chance to grab a Pepsi and make a sandwhich without holding up the lobby.  

Aditionally, if your going to toss out numbers at least make them accurate.  We die right after completing the wave 10 objective.  So you'll need to solo that and then solo wave 11.  All together (with the extended extraction wave time) we're talking more like 10 minutes for you to mop things up.  You'll forgive me if I laught at you doing that consistently on platinum.

Allied goal is to extract 800,000 individual players on any difficulty with each live member counting towards the goal.

A full extraction with four players equals four live members counting towards the goal. (a little bit of math)

800,000/4 = 200,000 full extractions with four people is all we would need to have a successful operation.

On PS3 Globally there are probably about 10,000 people that play MP.

200,000/10,000 = 20. For us to succeed we would each need at least 20 full extractions of four players each match.

I think that is more than possible. What about you?
