I must say, the past couple days was the ONLY challenge weekend where I wasn't bombarded by idiot randoms in the 20 or so matches I hosted. Almost all were full extractions, and as for difficulties, maybe 15 were silver and 5 were gold. I'm usually bombarded with bronze players trying silver and gold but not this weekend. I only played a few gold and stayed away from platinum for that reason but it all turned out very good. I'm usually in here whining with the rest of you on how people are trying difficulties they shouldn't be attempting, but not this weekend

Same here. Maybe it is because they do not need to play above their compfort zone to get the goals.

That's what I'm saying. It's not like they have crap servers and don't know what's going on, they have the data. Oh well, if it happens, awesome, if not then just more blind challenges i spose.

You would not believe the amount of Bronze players that came into my Silver and Gold games. Hint: Asari Adepts do not mix well with Claymores.

The operation was great, as the previous ones, but I experienced a lot of bugs this weekend, and the connection wasn't good.

I'm one of those silver players who upped his game to gold over the weekend. Used my Shadow, and got into a couple of good teams (which I'm finding to be the most important factor).

We made three or four extractions. Can't say I was standing on my two feet at the end of them all, but I had a blast.

Yeah, my gameplay was buggy as all get out. Lag time, slow/no response time on power use, cloak not working, etc.

I especially like the missiles that spawn before the geth who fired them. Seriously, I was camped behind cover on Rio facing the rear, when suddenly a missile comes flying out if the spawn point, immediately followed by some geth. Nice.

And someone please fix the cloak! In a rather humurous exchange yesterday, my shadow was coming upon a cannibal, so I cloaked. I get that he saw me cloak and began firing in my direction. What I don't get is that he kept his gun trained on me as I circled around him. I literally ran a circle around him with his eyes stayed on me. He eventually stopped firing, and I actually stopped circling him. So there we were, me staring at him, and he staring at nothing, which was actually me.

I used the new N7 soldier all weekend long. What a blast on any map. Did some gold but mostly silver. Only problem were the dropped games and lost equipment. Was nice teaming up with Elder Jefferson too.

I had the almost the same thing happen to me when I was cloaked when I played my slayer. Was great fighting with you on a team this weekend. Thanks for bailing my soldier out of some pretty tough spots. Even though he has max shields like a Krogan, sometimes I forget that once those are gone he is pretty flimsy. But hey, I like to play him like the terminator , with the Phiranha, high rate of fire, and shredder mod, I just can't resist not saying 'I'll be back" all the time .

If you cloak right in front of an enemy, and they see you, they shoot at the last place they saw you cloak.  If you were previously cloaked and run right up to, or into an enemy, they will spot you.  Apparently they can see the breakup in pattern just like we can with the Geth Hunters.  It seems though every enemy has a different "spotting" point, bosses are pretty far or impossible to beat with cloak.  The best thing to do is cloak out of view of the enemy and try to avoid running into them when moving from point A to point B  This makes things pretty difficult for the 4 upload stations as for the enemy not to see you, cloak away from the station so they dont see you, but you decloak right in the middle of the upload and usually someone sees you.

I just used the infiltrator and vanguard. They're all I had. Love using them.

I will say that after playing with other said characters, I'm a bit more conservative with my biotic / electric slash. It's a huge pain in the nuts for the other players who are trying to aim or just stay stable.
I get sort of annoyed when I try to take a stable defensive position (ie hack wave) and I can't because Slashy MacSlashypants is spamming the enemy. Sure it's effective from their standpoint but it's now a handicap to the other players.

Yes I am aware that this is old news to the lot of you. Just hoping it serves as a gentle reminder.

On a side-note
Just got the N7 sentinel yesterday. Maybe I'm just not used to him but he was a little ho-hum.
