Guys, it's not bugs and glitches. It's lag. I didn't have this kind of trouble until the weekend event started. I assume their servers couldn't handle the load. Over the weekend, I experienced more random disconnections, dropping out, missed attacks, and unexplained deaths than ever before.

^^^ This. Especially Sunday night for me.

Friday and Saturday I had relatively few issues, had fun leading lots of lower rankers to fu extractions on silver, and helping some lower ranking farmers on FWGG make their money and get full extractions. Shadow and Demolisher did all the work, and dominated. 

Subday.... Uh... I was all of a sudden getting taken down several times in early wave silver runs and struggling for extractions. I did not become horrible overnight -- the lag was awful.

About over a hundred hours...IIRC.However it seems that the countdown already begins the moment they start distributing so if you recieve yours late,you will have lessser time than that.

got the fury, on guess what a vetaran pack!! did quite a few extractions higher side of 20s, on gold,silver and bronze. The only hitch was i could not help my friends, who did not have any earth characters - the hitch of not being able to invite friends, was also difficult as most of the people onmy friends list happen to be in different timezones.

Hope we hit the squad goal. I opened my 20th PSP since Earth released after work today. Out of about 50 rares--I got a ton of 3-rare packs--one Paladin, and that's it. Come on, Demolisher!

this isn't fair to those of us who play a lot. we are the ones who does the majority of the community goal, so why do we get pretty much nothing for doing it? I think the community goal should be a tougher challenge an you guys give us a weapon or something. bc everyone like me who have everything maxed  except the promotional guns there's no reason  for us to to even do the community goal

he does have a point tho its been the same story every week since the start just  back on the forum/home page every now and then and it will tell u when we pass and the packs normaly come soon after

The operation was great, as the previous ones, but I experienced a lot of bugs this weekend, and the connection wasn't good.

I got stuck in a match as a vorcha sentinal where I couldn't hurt the enemies with any powers, so I used up all my ammo, but then couldn't pick up any more, so I was stuck unable to do anything. Though if I kept moving I I seemed to at least be invisible to the enemies...until extraction.

I think it's pretty obvious that the community goal this week is aimed at helping less frequent players unlock something new. The goal was set low enough that it should be hit easily anyway (unless multiplayer participation has dramatically dropped off), so there was no need for anyone to be playing extra games to contribute that didn't really want to.

It would have been nice to have seen a tiered goal that encouraged extra participation (i.e. 800,000 extracts = character card, 1.5 million - 2 x character card, 3 million = 2 x character card + N7 weapon), but given that BW don't provide a running tally, and don't provide post-operation stats, tiered goals aren't really going to work out for these events either. I'm guessing that 3 million extacts would be a stretch target - but who really knows at this point. All we ever get told is success or fail, never any stats or indication of actual numbers (another reason why I'll no longer grind specifically for these events).

This has been asked numerous times in this thread and others... I'll quote myself from one of these other threads... :

Not everyone has the time to spend in the mp, day in and day out (Poster name omitted)
like some people can (No, I'm not specifically addressing you, but to
the players who can do so). Things like work, family commitments etc,
can limit the amount of free time one has to play online. So when a
Allied Goal has the reward of a new character from the recent DLC pack,
it's understandable that they want to get the Allied Goal done so they
can get something new to use.

Also, it's my understanding that
the Rare card that those who have all the N7 characters already, may or
may not be a Ammo IV card. Far as I know, it has not been stated in any
official capacity that is what will be given out (Of course if all of
your Rare weapons etc are maxed out, the probability is rather high I
imagine).

Besides, this is a COMMUNITY challenge... why some of
the community can't help out others I can't understand... selfishness I
guess, as because there's nothing in the Victory Pack for me, not gonna
bother mentality.. If so, you guys'll go far in life...

For the previous two DLC... the Victory Packs from the Operations following their release, contained a character from the DLC. I was lucky enough to get the N7 Fury, N7 Slayer and N7 Demolisher just prior to this operation, and even if I DID have all the characters and appearance options for them, I'd STILL participate... as this is for the community, and as a part of the community, I'd gladly help out those who are less fortunate to not have the luck of the draw to get a new character yet.
