The victory pack offers nothing useful. If it was an n7 promotional weapon that would be a different story. 

If it was an N7 promotional weapon, I'd just have to carry scrubs like you through more games anyways while you die on Wave 10.

So no. I hope they never again do Victory Packs with N7 guns.

Only you clealy are in the minority as the majority do not watse time on extraction, especial when its lengthened. 
The operation will fail, you will be forced to solo extraction and everyone will laugh at you. 

Fine by me.

Check the brand new countdown timer at the top of the page.

This timer will countdown to when the Operation begins and will then switch over to a new timer counting down until the Operation ends. Hopefully this will prevent confusion over the start and end times.

OMG, just logged back in at home for lunch and noticed the timer.

Go to the forum overview, and click on the "BioWare" tag underneath of it.

Chris answered it, you will get a random rare card. For most of us--that's going to mean crummy ammo unless we can feasibly get Ultra Rares.

I know he answered that, but I want to know for sure if it's just an ammo type. "Rare card" is kind of vague. I hope I'll get an ultra rare though...

Rare card being kind of vague is likely the point.

I don't think he's going to out and out say "You're going to get Rare ammo!" but let's face facts here.

That's what the majority of us are getting at this point, not Rare Gear equipment or URs.

Uh-huh.  I'll enjoy seeing you solo that plat wave.  I may even stay infront of the TV for it.  Probably not though.  I'll likely go to make a sandwhich.

The problem with your statement (I'm ignoring the first part because it was so blatantly wrong.  You are min maxxing.  If you can't see that...), is that you think not extracting equals wasting time.  I can see we're going to disagree even though your statement is obviously false.

The extended time is because of the last operation's failure.

Wow, I really hope you're not on 360. I'd hate to play with you. Who joins somebody's game just to try and make them fail? You sound like a terrible teammate.

The extended extraction time is supposed to be the punishment for failing operation broadside. Says right in the original post.

I've always been able to max out my characters and weapons within the first week of a new DLC being released (the Typhoon being the only exception thus far...).

Ooh, I like this OP. And it is also nice that you guys were pretty clear on the goal and helped us out by counting each member who extracts towards the goal of 800,000. So, assuming Full Extractions, we only need about 400,000 Full Extractions on any difficulty versus any enemy. Seemse easy enough. And it looks like people will be breaking out their Earth characters this weekend to help out with the squad goal.

You seem to not understand what victory means, victory is earning credits or hard to get items, extractions offer neither. Therefore victory is completing the squad 10 goal. I think what you mean is that you'll drag us into wasting time whether we like it or not.

It's not luck. It's having a full manifest.

When you have all the previous content, you have a higher chance of filling it immediately with the "new" stuff as it takes priority over IV ammunition.

i think people who have all rares maxed out, as a reward for doing the event and having played so much/spent so much money that they have all rares maxed, should get a guaranteed ultra rare

all i have to say is i plan on extracting every game as often as possible all you wave ten suicide bombers need to go find some other circle jerk to play in this weekend and let the people that actually care about helping each other achieve something do our job.
