[Chris Priestly]

Operation OVERWATCH drops troops on Earth to tackle the most secure Reaper strongholds. Reaper anti-air defense will make for high-risk shuttle extractions.

Squad Goal: Extraction on any difficulty with at least one squad member using an Earth Pack character
Allied Goal: Extract 800,000 individual players on any difficulty, with each live member counting toward the goal.

Special Circumstance: Extraction time lengthened due to failure of Operation BROADSIDE.

Squad Goal Success: All squad members awarded a Commendation Pack.
Allied Goal Success: All players awarded a Victory Pack that includes a new Earth character.

Requirement: Mass Effect: Earth must be installed to earn these rewards.


REMEMBER: Feedback upload MUST be on for us to know if you complete the Squad or Allied goals. If it is not, we will not be able to grant rewards to deserving players. Thanks.

I'll be playing lots of bronze this weekend for the allied goal. I could really do with an 'Earth' character!

I'm pretty sure if you read it, it says a number or more that must be met.

If they don't clarify assume full. That way you definately complete the goal.
(They did clarify this time, but it would be a good idea to follow my advice for future operations.)

And for those who have all unlocks of the new Earth character? Possible choice of weapon or medi-gel increase (i.e.: Make the Allied Goal award enticing for everyone, hint, hint). I know there are quite a few out there that have no want of the Allied reward. Just playing devil’s advocate for you, BioWare.

What does this mean can you actually clarify this time? Does only the Earth character need to be extracted? Or do you need a full extraction? Also please put a lower cap on equipment bonuses, I have asked a lot and received no response. The regular equipment has a cap of 255 and you get 5 of them from spectre packs. So a lower cap would also benefit people who played longer by giving them bonuses they actually use and eventually ultra rares.

I appreciate the response but I'm not refering to the allied goal I'm refering to the squad goal, but as another person posted I'm going to assume full extraction just to be safe. Again thank you for the prompt response It shows caring about the community.

What time does it start and when does it stop? What is the official time used is it Mountain time?

P.S. Can you increase the drop rates for the Earth characters? Some of my friends still do not have one.

This could be read two ways:

which would mean any full or partial extraction would be acceptable
or
Extraction on any difficulty [with at least one squad member using an Earth Pack character]
which leaves the full/partial question unanswered

I love this game and love playing the weekend events - it would just be a little less frustrating if we had complete clarity about the requirements before we start, since at this rate it's going to take me at least a year to get my Vailant I leveled up (because the RNG seems to love my Eagle and Hurricane), especially if we keep missing out on the Squad packs.

"Single". As in "at least one".

I'm glad to clarify, but I thought "single" was already pretty clear.

I believe the time is PST US. Usually it says but its been PST on all of them so far so that would mean an hour later for MTN?

Perhaps a newb question, but since it's a reaper themed operation... that means we have to be in reaper enemy mission mode - correct?

Newb question #2 - And does it have to also be on an Earth map?
