Yeah I had that same issue. I went down while carrying it, and it glitched through the ground and was no longer obtainable. =~=U On that same map, too.

just did my part , 3 gold extractions with Human sentinel (2 full) and 2 silver with destroyer (full).
I doubt I'll have much more time this weekend.

This would be a good format but as you've demonstrated it is still possible to get it wrong. It is NOT necessary for the Earth character to be extracted to achieve the squad goal. Yes, I'm sure about that.

Thats fine...its just a format that Presley would do..not me or anyone else. having a "standard format" takes away most of the questions on this site. its easier explained this way then the other way. Again, it would be Presley filling in the format, so there would be no errors

Did a random random gold. Turned out to be Cerb on Dagger. We got a full extraction, so yay for us! I think everyone was using the new characters except for maybe one cerb vanguard. I forget. Good match either way.

Between 8 and 10 extractions so far, the variation is because I'm not sure if a couple counted - lacked Earth characters in the squad. The mission description doesn't SAY we need N7s present to count for the allied goal but I'm pretty sure Chris has confirmed that we do. Back for some more...

To those asking for a progress meter of various kinds, Chris has definitely confirmed that it is not possible. Would be nice, but not going to happen.

Personally I think the biggest problem with Broadside was that the squad goal required GOLD extractions and I know from forum comments that a lot of players spent most of the weekend trying for that and therefore not getting full extractions for the allied goal. If everyone played bronze all weekend we'd get this for sure...

Completed the squad goal on my first gold session today. Awesome! Can't wait for the Commendation pack. Hoping for that Valiant that I've been wanting. Off the next two days and I'll be playing between silver and gold.

Note to Bioware, this squad goal is extremely frustrating for my coworkers and myself as we have been playing in all our spare time and have yet to unlock an Earth character. My coworkers have focused on Prem Spec packs, and I on Vet and Spec. Since Earth released I have gotten 44 packs, 5 are Spec, the rest Vet, and no Earth unlocks, neither weapon nor character. So after two weeks of this, I have no way to achieve the Squad goal. I achieved 7 Silver full extractions in a row last night, but I still can't participate in this event. My Fail is Biowares Fail.

Why don't you just find someone with a N7 character? There are tons online.

 I'm kind of new to this malarkay, soooo, I just completed a few full extractions on bronze (just looking for some easy pickings;)), so I take it I completed my squad objective. Do we get the commendation pack at the end of the weekend? Also, any way to confirm the game has actually realised I've completed the squad objective? 

Gotta say, I'm quite captivated by MP, I've only really started playing now, I was missing out!

Hi, you complete the squad objective if one of your teammates was an earth-pack character (the new N7 Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Shadow, Slayer, and Fury)

As of now, there is no ingame way of updating us of our progress

Sir, I think if you have teammates who have an Earth pack character, then you're eligible for the commendation

Ok what the F-bomb is going on? Trying to do my part but when i enter the lobby nobody is N7 earth character? I change my character to N7 Fury and we role to full extract. I have done this once on silver and at least 8-9 times on bronze. Am i the only one being mindful of the mission this weekend or what. F-bomb x2 Urgh this Turian needs some sleep

I'm in the same boat pretty much... fairly new into the MP portion of the game, been messing around with it since Wed. and enjoying it alot.  I hope they'll keep adding new content as time goes on for the multiplayer portion of the game.. and hopefully some single player content as well perhaps.. now that the Extended Cut's been pushed out.

Did thirteen extractions using my N7 Fury (nine full), so hopefully I helped some get their Squad goal. Oddly, I'd say if anything there were somewhat fewer N7's than the last few days (but not a scientific poll).

It will be Tuesday when we get the victory pack (if successful) and it will be either later Tuesday or Wednesday (depends on time zone) before we get the commendation pack
