This timer will countdown to when the Operation begins and will then switch over to a new timer counting down until the mission ends. Hopefully this will prevent confusion over the start and end times.

about time you did that that will clear up the times for when its going and about to finish and you just had and go and do this when i am going to florida for my birthday{today is my birthday not joking 25th of july} and i am going  to florida on the 26th. so i wont be able to do this  run sighs!

oh well almost  at the  age where i know the answer to everything is my age{ hitchhiker joke}

Nicely done with the countdown now i want to see something that displays the how many/much/remaining kills/extractions/goal,towards achieving it or not.positive side is that will motivate exhausted players to go for some more matches towards reaching the goal the negative it may be that if we don't achieve it it will raise questions on how many people are actually playing the game in multiplayer still not sure is good for BioWare just saying

EXCELLENT idea. Now it will be far easier for those of us in different corners of the globe to work out what time things are starting and finishing

From the wording ("dropped on Earth"), yeah it might just be Earth maps.

Also, I just noticed the "longer extraction times" in there, so answered my own question.

I'd also like to give my new N7 Shadow a go for this one. Have yet to try her out.

Is it at all possible to get a Ultra Rare card instead of a Rare card. Rare packs only give me lvl4 ammo/armor bonuses. I get enough of those in premium specters, Im pretty sure others with the Earth DLC characters maxed out will feel same. I have yet to get a valiant or a saber and have plenty of ultra rares in need of upgrade. It would be greatly appretiated if you could somehow get us ultra rares.

Nope.  considering the Earth characters are rare why in the heck would they give a ultra rare in its place.  Those of us who have maxed out the Earth characters will take the Rare card and like it.

It seems as though people are confused on which faction we are to face. I'm assuming it is Reapers on any difficulty because of these sentences

"Operation OVERWATCH drops troops on Earth to tackle the most secure Reaper strongholds. Reaper anti-air defense will make for high-risk shuttle extractions."

 Having served 8 years in the Marines I feel compelled to help you out by telling you your comment about CoD, BF, MoH, & Special Ops being sexist is misdirected. I'm not really familiar with GTA but I'm pretty sure you are correct about that one. However as for as the modern day military shooters go, those shooters AREN'T based off of IMAGINARY creatures, aircrafts & weapons. Those shooters ARE actually based of CURRENT, REALISTIC military members, aircrafts, & weapons. The reason why there are no women military members in those games that strive to portray REALISTIC military combat is because there are no women in the INFANTRY. Yes, there ARE women in the military and they are taught basic combat training, but they don't actively/directly serve in engagements with the enemy fighters/combatants. They are mostly trained the same as the non-Infantry men in the unexpected outcome of combat actually finding them. Femaile service members pretty much serve in every other available & respectable occupation EXCEPT infantry. In regards to military fitness tests women in the military have lower standards than the men, (small-to-large), which is actually sexist being that enemy surely won't give female military members extra "kindness" for being a female, if anything they'll be even more cruel. All this is COMMON knowledge to everyone that has & currently is serving in the military. 
 
 Although I would like to see the same level of equality displayed in Starship Troopers, (love that movie), displayed in the actual current-day military we are probably far from it. However, the Marines have scheduled a test class this year (2012) for elgible female senior Marines to see if females are capable of serving in Infantry without special treatment, (same fitness standard test & same equipment weight carriage). If successful the female Marines & will then train female junior Marines. This then could allow women to serve in direct combat across all military services & which would naturally cross into realistic shooter games without those realist shooter games having to sacrifice there level of realism. This greatly impresses me as any woman that is not just willing to accept "equality" when its "convenient" but also accept it when its inconvient has my deepest respect. 
 
 As for your Sexism problem, if you want to point a finger at something to blame, blame it on society. Women don't alwyays need to be saved, Men are also capable of being weak, & Victory in a physical fight isn't soley determined by power but by a combination of strength, speed, stamina, maneuverablity, knowledge & the Intelligence of how & when to precisely apply all of it. As much I would like to see an end to sexism I don't think it'll come any sooner than the end of any of the other forms of hatred against race, religion, & sexual orientation.

Okay, I'm done now. I didn't mean to continue your rant on this long, I just get greatly bothered by accusations based off of limited or no knowledge, ESPECIALLY when it involves the military. I genuinely hope this helps you & those like you to understand the abscence of female military service members in modern combat games & how those games differ from Awesome Equal Rights futuristic games like ME3.

[To be clear my statement is in regard to the U.S. Military as most of the mentioned games focuses on them. I've only served in the U.S. Military & am not familiar with other countries' military policy of women in actual combat.]
