I could've tried to maneuver the Atlas to a more favourable position but I was running out of time. So yeah, that was a bad objective... Could've saved a lot more time there if it was escort.
I was very lucky I didn't waste a medigel on wave 3.

Can you say bullet hose? That was beyond impressive. Especially how well you manuevered around the map and finished with a medigel left at the end too.
Thanks. Maneuvering was particularly difficult because of the way enemies spawn on platinum. The Gold & below mentality is: if I'm at that spot, enemies won't spawn there. On platinum you have to forget that and just have eyes everywhere cause the minute you're not looking somewhere, there's a hunter popping up behind you or a phantom slashing at you. It can be scary at times.

I kid, really impressive run, used the GPS like a boss, I enjoy you owning the phantoms! also jelly of your hardware
I wonder how you do so much damage with your typhoon tho, I used AP III, extend clip, extend barrel, rail amp III and still need one full clip to kill an atlas, I saw you still have some left when you finish an atlas.

Warp ammo is the best ammo for the typhoon. Why? Because it does the most damage overall. I believe at level 3, AP is 30%, Warp is 35% extra damage. Now, some people might argue that AP is better against armor but not on the typhoon. This weapon has an innate 50% armor ignore built in feature. So the 60% that AP ammo provides, turns into a measly 10% when coupled with the typhoon because the ignore armor is capped at 60% in the game. So against armor, Warp ammo actually does more or the same damage than AP. Against shields & barriers, Warp is better due to the higher natural multiplier.
So only use AP ammo if you are intending to shoot through solid walls most of the time. The rest of the time use Warp.
I had to use Warp anyway because with other types of ammo GPS took 5 shots to kill phantoms instead of 3.

I think it was before the damage changes. I don't rely on penetration distance for Typhoon, I mostly hug corners to avoid getting shot, but the reduction in today's balance changes will make AP ammo more useful on the weapon. As far as this run goes nothing would've been different.

I did a calculation a while ago for SP and of course you are right about Warp Ammo, at least on weapons that can do around 100dmg per shot or more (that was with SP max damage evolutions, not quite the same as consumables). You aren't getting better damage on shields with it though. Only bonus to Armor, Barrier, and Health.
In any event, is this the same build you use in team games? I am mainly curious about Headshots vs Power Damage. Do you think the headshot evolution is worthwhile compared to slightly more damage with grenades?

Yeah, the build I run on teams is similar, maybe spec out of adrenaline and get cyclonic. Headshots & power damage are both useless. Maybe power damage less so, if you are using the typhoon. If you're using the piranha, headshot damage counts.

I just finished watching the whole video and I think the most useful thing I took away from it was your use of cover on Fire Base Giant. I definitely need more practice using that map in solo games because I'm a long way away from being that efficient with my firing lanes. Often times you had a needle-thread line of sight to the target which rendered them nearly unable to return fire, especially in the case of Atlases.
