EDI build question

I'm about to do an insanity run-through using the engineer class. For the extra set of overload and incinerate, I'll pretty much bring EDI on all of my missions.

Using the following max level build, what would be her health and power damage figures?

EDI - blackvest (25% recharge speed)

6 incinerate (damage/recharge/armor damage)
6 overload (damage/recharge/shield and barrier stripping)
3 decoy
6 defense matrix (durability/power synergy/power recharge)
6 unshackled AI (power damage/tech damage/squad bonus)

I spec EDI depending on class:

For soldiers, adepts, sentinels and vanguards:

Incinerate 6 (damage, recharge, armour damage)
Overload 6 (damage, recharge, shield damage)
Decoy 6 (duration, shock, explosive)
Defence Matrix 0
Unshackled AI 6 (power damage, tech damage, squad bonus)

Hurricane (or hornet) and Paladin

Blue suit (recharge 25%)

This build maximises her damage output and recharge speed, making her deadly against bosses. I completely ignore defence matrix in this build due to the recharge penalty, even if I have points to spend.

For engineers and infiltrators (especially on high difficulties):

Unshackled AI 6 (health & shields, tech damage, shield recharge (infiltrators)/squad bonus (engineers))
Defence Matrix 6 (durability, shield recharge, durability)
Decoy 6 (duration, recharge speed, shields & duration)
Overload 6 (chain, neural shock, chain)
Incinerate 3

Talon and Hurricane (or hornet)

White suit (Shields +25%)

This build makes EDI very durable and allows her to be an excellent distraction, particularly good for infiltrators

As for actual damage figures, I have no idea, but hopefully this helps you :)

I prefer her hair loose and not formed up as a solid block. Also, her proportions are quite nice.

Wait ... OH, you mean THAT kind of build. Sorry.

Is the Talon a good fit for squadmates? Their accuracy seems spotty.

Its good on EDI if you keep her at close range (with high caliber barrel and piercing mod it pretty much becomes a mini-shotgun), I often give her the hornet with the scope mod as a long range weapon to compliment this

Is the scope mod actually useful for squaddies? I never use it on their weapons.

it seems to increase their acurracy noticably, especially on assault rifles and SMGs

i heard somwhere that it reduces their bullet spread, which is probably makes them seem more accurate

I really like this one.

Incinerate 6 (Area, DoT, Armor Damage)
Overload 6 (Chain, Recharge, Chain)
Decoy 3
Defence Matrix 6 (Damage Reduction, Power Damage, Recharge)
Unshackled AI 6 (Power damage, Tech damage, Shield Recharge)

Default Outfit. (25% power damage)

Shes a beast with highly damaging powers that effect multiple enemies. Her cooldowns aren't really terrible since her powers become a I win button. and she has pretty great survivability.

Give her a Paladin/Carnifex (Damage and Armor Piercer mod). Also Never give squadmates the Talon, it seems to be buged on them, they will do this weird aiming weapon thing that they get stuck in and will just wave it around in a circle but never fire. I don't know what causes this but it was common whenever I had them use it.

I have only really used EDI extensively once, when I was an Engineer so she (it) could combo with me. I specced her as follows:
6 - Overload - Damage - Recharge - Shield Damage
6 - Incinerate - Damage - Recharge - Armor Damage
0 - Decoy
0 - Defense Matrix
6 - Unshackled AI - Power Damage - Tech Damage - Damage

The reason I put no points into Decoy was because I wanted EDI to use either Overload or Incinerate (I am on Xbox which means either one mapped power, or no mapped powers and hope the squad A.I. chooses the right power).
The reason I put no points in Defense Matrix is because even if you turn Squadmate Powers to Off, they will still use ammo powers and defensive powers. That includes Defense Matrix. Defense Matrix does give a tech power damage bonus at rank 5, but it still slows down power use and her cooldowns can be punishing compared to other squadmates. And if EDI ever purges Defense Matrix (and she will) it will also be a 12-16 second cooldown which means no Overload or Incinerate.

I put her in her +25% cooldown outfit to at least help with the cooldowns. The extra power damage would not be noticeable.

I plan to use her again at some point, but next time I will probably focus on surviveability.
