My first char (avatar) is a female Dalish Elf.  She's a Bard + Duelist Rogue.  I'm near the end of the game and I'm loath to face the finality of my first playthrough.

At Lvl 21, Featheryn is a master with dual-wielded daggers and a bow.  It's fun to revel in her deadly proficiency.

On a scale of 1-10, my Rogue is definitely a 10.  Before the game shipped, I created her on the free downloaded Character Creator, as I imagine many of you did.  It took me about 2 hours to finally settle on her good looks (to me at least).  I think she's a cutie in the cut scenes, and I've had many compliments from friends who've seen her plastered across my desktop, taken from a screenshot I took.

Featheryn rates a 10 for her fighting ability also.  She's a tough, no-holds barred leader and negotiator.  I get that feeling from the dialog choices and her ability to "act" in this manner.  It's very cool.

Before my second game commences, I'll download a mod that makes appearances better, and may play a mage.  I usually don't like to play mage chars, but DA:O is just so cool I must try.

Congrats! good that you do a agreable character at the first.. I make several until i found one that I find nice.

the first one i finish the game ( also a bard rogue dalish with archery style ) i enjoyed it, but.. i really hate his looks XP the cinematics are weird..

I now downloaded the CC extra tints and tones and i am trying to make a better character.

( in the other hand, the character upload dont work to me for days, I wonder if there is anyone else with this problem)

I'm playing a noble dwarf warrior with Templar/Champion Specs. He wears the spellward (30% magic resistance) using the Knight Commander plate (40% magic res), and with a few runes is 100% magic resistant! Im enjoying this playthrough...

Same here.  I can upload from the character creator with no problems but the game itself is uncooperative.


I'd rate my first Rogue playthrough as a 10
First Mage playthrough a 7 - very unsatisfying ending.
All the others would be 8's and 9's I guess.

my city elf rogue il give 5, made some mistakes as at that stage i was still figuring out the game mechanics. Also the ending froze and i missed the whole epilogue, didnt realise till after i finished my second playthrough that there was one

2h warrior; 9.5, he was awesome, love walking into a cluster of enemies attacking the tank (alistair), and activating 2h sweep and seeing 120+ dmg on like 7 or more enemies, in some cases killing all of them, his only weaknesses were low defence, vulnerable to archery and magic cc spells, also an awesome ending

my mage on xbox im just messing around with on nightmare, using a duplicate cheat to get all the spells i want, when had the pc version(my pc broke down so traded it in ) i had a mage at lvl 13 and she was alright, but again i had made some bad spell choices like spell bloom and anti magic burst, so a 5
