My game will freeze randomly. Sometimes after 2 hours, sometimes after 5 minutes. Sometimes it's in game, sometimes it's at the end of a loading screen.
There is one thing in common with all the freezing occurances. I've been using GPU-z to monitor my video card and whenever the game freezes the "Memory Used" sensor is always around 228MB, and after force closing the game it goes down to 220MB and stays there. I have to reboot my computer to get it back down to normal levels. I don't know if it is reporting accurately but I have no reason to think that it isn't. Usually when I'm not running anything my video card memory usage is between 10MB and 25MB.

Anyone have an general insight as to why my video card memory remains in use after closing the game? I'll take non-mass effect-specific tech advice this.
