I'm not sure you really earn that many more credits by playing gold.  First, there is the extra time invested.  If it takes just 30 seconds more per wave, that's and extra 5 minutes.  Enough time to complete 1/3rd of a silver match.

Next, you have to deduct the consumabiles used from your earnings.  Medi-gel, rockets, and equipment all must be replaced.

Lastly is success rate.  If your successful 100% of the time on silver, but only 70% of the time on gold, that difference also eats into the profit margin.

Just food for thought.

 Excellent post TC. I'm in the same position as you, I get ever so board not being able to use a class to its maximum potential in a gold match, reduced to spamming  certain moves or using unsatisfying tactics to win. (I love the Slayer but I DETEST Biotic Slash)

Only the Shadow let's me properly get around during a Gold or Plat game.
