... but was going to do so and log in as a DM on one of my modules... I can load the module - but the option to log in as a DM seems to be missing... all I can log in as is a "local" character (which does not have DM powers). Am I missing something here or is my memory just THAT bad? :-)

It does get that "Can Not Connect To Master Server; Some Multiplayer Services May Not Be Available" (which is because Bioware took down the server that NWN used to go through, I believe) - but is there a way around this to get the DM available again?

I just tried it, had no problems.
I brought up the NWN launcher, picked the DM Client. Told it to do a new internet game (or however that's phrased...)
I got the message about the server being down, the usual yadda-yadda wait.
Then I got to put up my server, and once all the server settings were set, had to pick a "character" to be a DM. It all worked fine, and I had all DM powers.
I may have gotten something backwards here, should have written it all down. Heh.
Where in this process did your train go off the rails?

So... yeah, all my fault. Was using Windows 7 (had not played NWN since getting this desktop) and so used to doing the "type the command" rather than browse through the folders on the start button - that I was launching the wrong NWN executable...

Haha. Well, having made that same mistake in the past, I wondered if that was the problem.
