Several times today I have been playing ME3 multiplayer when, after several waves, a message comes up saying "You have lost your connection to the Mass Effect 3 server. Please reconnect to access the online features of the game". It then exits and all my xp and credits earned disappear meaning all my work is wasted. I have already wasted about 3 hours today playing multiplayer and gaining nothing because of this.
My petition is: Please could the xp and credits earned in multiplayer be automatically stored at the end of each wave so if you lose connection, you can retain them. I know this might lead to people exiting on purpose but you could add some kind of penalty where you only get 50% or 25% of the points earned to discourage this while people getting disconnected do not lose everything.
Please reply if you agree or disagree with me.
Thanks, Richter
Edit: I've created a poll which can be found here: http://social.biowar...29/polls/37434/ to allow people to quickly show if they agree or disagree. All the same, please comment on this thread to express your opinion
Edit: Here is a good suggestion from Lividliver that I feel deserves to be mentioned
Lividliver wrote...
I acknowledge people bailing on
matches halfway as a potential issue arising from it but I had in the
past suggested a measure to guard against it.
I think most of us
would agree that the problematic players will be those who abuse the
system to hop about games for easy credits in a short time.To curb such
undesirables,a timeout could be implemented for those who leave(be it dc
or quitting) ongoing matches.Say if one leaves a match halfway,he/she
could be slapped with a 5 or 10 min timeout and barred from joining
another match until it expires.
For those who need to bail on
matches halfway due to real life issues, they are going to do it
anyway, credits or no credits. So the timeout won't afffect this group.
For
those of us experiencing disconnects,it will be an inconvenience but
unless you are suffering from very frquent disconnects,it will be a once
in a blue moon thing in exchange for having your credits everytime it
occurs.
