Signed. Too many damn times have I been hosting a match, get to the extraction wave to either have my system freeze, or lose connection to servers. Then to find out we don't get anything for that? Come on Bioware way to make us waste our time to get nothing out of it.

Signed. And even if rage quitters quit, they still played the game, they should get something :P

Signed, several times over. Very least, let our exp and credit earned on the last 'objective' round carry over. So if you get disconnected on wave 9, you still keep the experience and credits earned from wave 6. A fair compromise. It's really frustrating to spend 30 or more minutes playing a match, using your consumables, then suddenly the server disconnects and you lose everything you put into it and have nothing to show for it.

Also, I don't see how it could be 'abused' if it only refunds and/or pays you if you were DISCONNECTED. There is a difference between rage quitting and getting kicked due to a server connection issue. If you quit manually ingame you shouldn't get anything. But if you were kicked because of matters out of your control, why not receive at least some compensation for your efforts. It seems reasonable to me.

75,000/120,000+ credits and a half hour of my time goes down the drain.

So all of you play just for the money or xp? Farming will fit you perfect.
Mostly when someone is disconnected he/she joins us again and loose only xp, but most of us use lv. 20 characters for gold/platinum, so they do not loose anything.

btw - I do not have disconnects during game more than once a month.

If I play with friends I MIGHT be able to join again (sometimes after I disconnect I can't rejoin), with randoms I have no chance. Furthermore if I disconnect in wave 8-10 I loose a lot of credits, not only xp. Do you really think it is fun to get less than half the credits (and a ridiculous low score) for a full game? And do you think it is fun for my teammates to loose a player in wave 10?

I get a disconnect in the first or second game every time I play. And then some. So yes, I support this petition wholeheartedly!

I agree. Several times (usually on wave 10 or 30-40 seconds into extraction) I will "lose connection to the ME3 server" for no reason at all, losing all points, bonuses,, credits etc. Most matches take roughly 20 minutes to complete, so having that DC box pop up and give you the middle finger, erasing 20 minutes of your time, gets super infuriating after a while.

*SIGNED* Make it happen Bioware, I have faith

I barely ever disconnect but thats probably because my modem is the monolith from 2001: Space Odyssey, but yet again I only really play Silver due to horrible PUG Gold games in the past.

I agree with OP though, when I do get disconnected, I get pretty pissed off.

I have seen countless threads requesting for this change but I have yet to see a Bioware reply to any of them.Has Bioware ever come forth to state their view on this matter?I find it disconcerting that they would remain so silent about it.

No, it would encourage too much leaving in the middle of the game. Disconnects happen unfortunately.

I strongly disagree ...

...atleast against gaining credits if you lose the conncetion
People will join a game even if they don't have the time left to play it through which will lead towards even more drop outs and unknown people joining during a game. Would be a death sentence during Platin missions

For the experience, yes, I agree, for the money, no. It will encourage people to leave the game after wave 3, 6 or 10.

Pretty sure bioware could tell the difference between pressing quit mission and losing connection.

I acknowledge people bailing on matches halfway as a potential issue arising from it but I had in the past suggested a measure to guard against it.

I think most of us would agree that the problematic players will be those who abuse the system to hop about games for easy credits in a short time.To curb such undesirables,a timeout could be implemented for those who leave(be it dc or quitting) ongoing matches.Say if one leaves a match halfway,he/she could be slapped with a 5 or 10 min timeout and barred from joining another match until it expires.

For those who need to bail on matches halfway due to real life issues, they are going to do it anyway, credits or no credits. So the timeout won't afffect this group.

For those of us experiencing disconnects,it will be an inconvenience but unless you are suffering from very frquent disconnects,it will be a once in a blue moon thing in exchange for having your credits everytime it occurs.

Signed. The number of disconnections is TOO DAMN HIGH. Plus it's bs if they can't remember if you got credit's/xp because they know the items you've used in that match.

I think people would find a way of fooling them by disabling their pc's internet somehow, hence my suggestion of a penalty. I personally never use consumables but I can understand the frustration of losing them

This is a good suggestion - I hope they atleast consider this.

Maybe they could only reimburse you on bronze, silver and gold to prevent this. Or possibly allow the host to choose if quitters keep their earnings (though admittedly everyone would probably choose "no")

Btw, does anyone know if Bioware takes the time to read threads like this?
