Hello,
my problem isn't strictly ME3-related, but ME3 is affected. My Xbox gets rather picky about which discs it likes. 3 discs (Mass Effect 3 Disc 2; Dragon Age II; Fallout: New Vegas) often need several tries to work, it takes up to 15 minutes. With all the disc changes ME3 requires, that can be quite annoying.
The error messages after each try can vary, sometimes i get a "disc unrecognizable", sometimes nothing (Just "open tray", sometimes a "play DVD" or a "play game", but it won't work. As soon as the Xbox recognizes a disc and the game starts, there are no issues at all.
Now i'm just asking if anyone knows an issue where a Xbox has such problems with specific, unscathed discs and i need a repair, or if the discs are just in a worse state than they look.

I doubt the discs would be in "a worse state than they look". I think its a 360 problem.
There's a few solutions on google & youtube. One of these is to close the disc tray without a game in, and you can hear the laser re-aligning, once its done, you then put a disc back in and it should work.

Neither this laser re-aligning, nor pulling out the power cord, clearing the cache, tapping on the box while it tries to read or trying it without the hard drive help. Thanks anyway.
