No, stop asking for ****ing nerfs to everything good, instead ask for buffs for everything that sucks. Goddammit, people like you flooding the forums with nerf requests are killing the game.

totally agree, the game is no longer fun anymore with all the nerf

Why is it that every time there's a weapon that's fun and powerful people scream that it be nerfed? Who cares that it's more powerful than your precious claymore, just let us enjoy it...

That's completely unreasonable. Don't you understand? I am so afraid that there might be another man out there who has a bigger penis than me! I NEED this game. To validate my existence, to put on job resumes. To sleep warm with my pillow between my legs at night.

To give a better idea, this is a pic about 25 Meters with Smart Choke, and a 15% accuracy boost from HM.

Image IPB

1) That's not close to 25 meters, so you fired it while standing still from pretty far away at the deadliest of targets, a non-moving wall
2) You know very well that this thing is meant to fire full auto and that a grouping won't look anything like that when you fire a whole clip, especially if you're moving or your target is
3) That's a tighter pellet spread than you'll get with anything other than a TSol using Marksman, and it still isn't obnoxious

Good job on getting us to give you 15 pages in 4 hours.  Now go find something else to incorrectly complain about.

My experience tells me this picture isn't right. Is he really using a Piranha? Could I mimic these results with say, a Talon and switch to my Piranha? I've just never experienced this type of spread cluster at this distance with this weapon.

Probably because you play it like a normal person, moving around and not firing one shot at a time at an immobile target!  A Talon would only give 6 bullet holes, and I'm sure he's using a Piranha as he says.  The picture just doesn't really say much since it involves an accuracy bonus--which only 3 of 36 characters in the game can achieve--and since it isn't exactly relevant conditions.

HA!!!!!!!!! I just replicated this picture.

A) Yes, He's using the Piranha.

B) You have to be: 1)in cover and 2) have your accuracy bonuses MAXED "I'm talking both class passives and equipment." In other words - you won't be this effective during actual play.....EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice test OP. Lets see you manipulate some more data to fit your erroneous point.

I was not in cover when I took this, you can clearly see that. Other than smart choke, the only Accuracy I have is the 15% from HM, which I said I was counting.

In other words, I'm not quite sure who is manipulating data here, my friend.

why when they buffed it to make it better because it was a peice of crap before it got buffed. And honestly its only short range effective. Really more than half the guns in this game are useless because they have either been nerfed so bad or the way they work isnt viable.

Actually OP has been very up front...
Look at the picture at the top of page 17, those show the Claymore is more accurate, which is a point in favour of those opposing him/her somewhat, yet he/she freely posted it without any problem or manipulation...

You may disagree with what he/she says, but from that POW he showed commendable honesty, you can not deny him/her that, for it's there for all to see...

EDIT: damn FTL forum... :/

I doubt they will nerf this gun, they don't usually make two opposite balance changes on stuff.
Besides, there was an equal if not more vivid outrage when the reegar came out but everyone calmed down after a week or two. Everyone was using it on everything for some time and then they moved on. Sure, there were some classes that kept it and why shouldn't it happen here as well?
All competing shotguns are also rares anyway.

Quick! Something is useful and powerful! It also allows us to have sensible cooldown at the cost of needing to be up close to damage an enemy! We must nerf it! Quickly!

:bandit:

Idc if you went and got data for it....fact remains that it is simply good gun. A balanced gun. I clearly needs no more balance. Just because on certain classes with certain equipment it can become very accurate at somewhat of a further distance means nothing, because this effect only occurs with the stated criteria. So we kill the gun and make it less usable by all classes because of about 3? Nonsense.

In the next Multiplayer Expansion Pack... I beg, beg, beg Bioware to include a nerf gun that fires foam bullets at enemies for 0 damage, but with the highest possible firing rate. This gun should be forced upon anyone who posts a nerfing thread on Bioware ME3 Multiplayer Forum, all their other guns should be made inaccessable.

NERF THE NERFERS!

instead of nerfing good guns. They should make a new difficulty mode called nerf mode where all the guns suck. so nerfers can play that game by themselves :)

Someone help me out here, why do people want to nerf weapons?

We are not competing with each other. It's a team effort and nerfing powerful weapons will only make it harder to win.

Where is the advantage in this?

Because of something called an inferiority complex. I'm a psych student. I'd have a f*cking field day with video game jocks like the OP.

It's coz Bioware decided it was a brilliant idea to put in a scoreboard that doesn't really tell you how well you contributed to the battle, just how much you killed more than anything else.

It's a blow to the mentalmind to see your score low, and feel like you didn't do jack to help the team.

It's even worse when someone tromps around the map racking up kill after kill after kill while you're struggling just to keep up.

It's just not fun when you feel less than viable. People want balance.

Way I see it though is if you feel less than viable, and then drag people down to your level, what the hell are you doing?!

Yeah.

But people like the OP have a st*ck up their ass. I'll bet anything his parents never really showed affection towards him. Anything that the OP did was never good enough in the parent's eyes. He most likely came from an Authoritarian household. Where "because I said so" was reason enough to warrant anything. Most likely developed an Avoidant attachment style(indifference to parents/guardians, treats them as strangers), which creates people with low self esteem and insecurity. And I'm willing to bet he wasn't the most poplular kid around, which I'm sure created "difficulties" for him, being the odd ball and all. It all comes from his language and demeanor. I can feel the insecurity just oozing out of his posts, the awkwardness, the betaness.

It's quite disgusting really.

But that's just speculation, I'll examine him/it some more to see if we can find a way to get that stick out of his ass.

Actually I came from a rather dysfunctional household with an alcoholic father who beat my mother up. I carried a lot of rage in my teens and let it out on the football field and other sports. I loved my mother very much and had a sort of a love/hate relationship with my father. I was actually somewhat popular because I was a 'jock'. I went to community college because I couldn't afford more than that, since I helped support my mother after my father died. I majored in computer electronics and went on to work for Texas Instruments, Dell, and Apple. Most of the time I was actually a supervisor in charge of a group of technical support people.

I am sorry that I may not fit what you were aiming towards and I have to say I am somewhat concerned that a person interested in helping people overcome their fears and foibles would consider them to be 'disgusting'.

That would be poetic justice.

But Bioware listens to clowns like the OP. It's where they get their ideas, when they're not listening to Wintersun.

I think i'm just going to take a break from this website before my head explodes.

Oh well, I already called it before, I knew my Piranha was next. Why as well nerf all of the DLC weapons and make them all unusable. The Piranha's DPS is only so amazing when you're right up in the enemies faces, something thats very high risk high reward.

Please, for the people who havent gotten to try all of the weapons yet, just stop.

My point is his position and test are erroneous. Without his carefully controlled laboratory environment and manipulation of conditions, this weapon will NEVER replicate the depicted performance during gameplay use.

This, in many circles, can be called "misleading data". Knowingly submitting "misleading data" to support one's point is not looked highly upon in the scientific community. This is not evidence of the weapon's accuracy. It's evidence of what the weapon can do when:

1)max out passive accuracy
2)max out equipment accuracy
3)dive into cover
4)fire once
5)take a picture of the spread

In real game circumstances:

1) Player pulls it out while running around a corner
2) Anything beyond 6 feet is lucky to have A pellet hit them
3) Not everyone is playing a Geth
4) Not everyone is playing a turian
5) Very few times (unless you're playing FBWGG) do I see people firing this weapon exclusively from cover
6) Very few times will you be firing only one shot.
7) Very few people will ever max out accuracy equipment

Must I go further..... And he didn't explain how he got his results and if you look very closely, the border of the picture is gone; why would one crop that out?

The weapon is not OP. Stop crying because some other guy got a higher score than you. There will always be people that are better than you. Deal with it.

And Yes it has superb accuracy but only in cover or with passive accuracy bonus, thus it really only applies to 4 characters. In another words, it's not a huge deal since those classes are basically weapon dependent classes anyways.

Kinda sad how people can't deal with change or other people's superiority.
