Using a weapon on a class like the GI or Destroyer isn't going to prove a weapon is OP, only that the weapon is OP in the hands of said classes.

I dominated a Reaper Gold game a few hours ago using a GI with a PPR and Incendiary Ammo IV, but the PPR is hardly OP.

As I said earlier, feel free to make a video showing how terrible the gun is. I know that 3 out of 4 players I am playing with on Gold and Platinum are using it fairly exclusively. I use it myself on everything because it makes the game much easier. When those stats roll in, the weapon is going to be killed like the Krysae, it is inevitable unless we take a smaller hit now.

You slanted the everloving heck out of your "test"
You showed how accurate it is by using a class that boosts its accuracy
You showed how quickly it fires by using the Rate of Fire evo on destroyer mode
You used AP ammo to show its ammo shredding capabilities
You used every shotgun amp available in the game to showcase its power.
You also used it on the closest range map on the game.

So, are you saying that it needs to be mediocre with Every. Possible. Buff. In. The. Game?
So what happens to your average player that does not have loads of Shotgun amps and AP ammo and wants to use it on a class that does not buff the crap out of it?

If this needs a nerf, it needs a very, VERY light nerf.  It and the Typhoon can be turned to garbage with a slight change of stats, this thing is treading dangerous water.  It is either really good, or it is garbage.  With this gun, there is very little in-between.

You might as well rename your video "Gears are OP"

You can get similar results with just about all the top-tier weapons with gear mods added. You did not address how it has made the Piranha OP. I suggest making a video where you did not use any gear and compare it with gears added.

My opinion on the vid. I've seen the claymore take out brutes as fast or faster. This is probably because you can also see how even though sometimes brutes are right in his face... the nature of firing + recoil + spread + trying to avoid enemies prevents him from centering his shot correctly. The seems to contradict what he asserted before that getting all the pellets on a brute isn't a problem. The only place that might hold true is a Turian Soldier and maybe the Geth.

Edit: You can also see the insane danger he puts himself in trying to get close enough to put optimal spread contact on those banshees.

Also, OP I would like to point out, as other posters have, that you are CLUELESS and should refrain from proposing anymore "balance suggestions". Nerfing clip size, ROF or increasing weight would make Piranha useless, or at very least make a completely different gun, filling a different role - not what it was designed to be. Maybe you should leave the balancing to the people who know what they're doing - Bioware.

Using certain character passives/abilities (MM, HM, Devastator Mode), Consumbles, Gear and Mods on a weapon to improve its performance does not mean that it is overpowered.
Obviously the OP is too stupid to understand that his "test" was not a fair one and he should not have hunter mode, gear and consumables on to improve accuracy and range. If you need a certain combination to make it good, like Ashen Earth said, it's not good in the first place.
Also, what if they don't have these mods/gear/characters/high level guns and mods like you do? You have full levelled gear/piranha and mods, as well as high level sondumables. Don't assume people have the same as you, because they don't. RNG.

Very beautifully said. Can't agree more. (as example) Yes Pirahna  can be good on TSo but i barely see any of Tso on the field (PC here) because they are clumbsy, tend to be squishy and few players know how to play wioth TSo properly...

How about making the accuracy bonus from power not working on shotguns?
A skilled marksman can fire a rifle/pistol more accurately, but how the pellets fly shouldn't be something controllable by skill.

I could write a thousand word essay on what's wrong with that post, but I honestly no longer care much for your opinion. Like I said before, use no mods to get a basic method. That is true and proper evidence to support your claim. Using mods voids that, like it or not.

Obviously the OP is too stupid to understand that his "test" was not a fair one and he should not have hunter mode, gear and consumables on to improve accuracy and range. If you need a certain combination to make it good, like Ashen Earth said, it's not good in the first place.

Yeah, it's not good. That's why it's used on every class, often with 2-3 people using it per game.

I don't know maybe because.. you know.. it's new? All the new weapons/characters get played to death for a long while after they come out before things even out again.

Using a weapon on a class like the GI or Destroyer isn't going to prove a weapon is OP, only that the weapon is OP in the hands of said classes.

I dominated a Reaper Gold game a few hours ago using a GI with a PPR and Incendiary Ammo IV, but the PPR is hardly OP.

Do you accept that you might not be right? and be ok with losing in an argument? I am not suggesting you're wrong but since this is public forum some individuals do not like losing or being proven wrong and will fight tooth and nail to prove otherwise. Just something to think about..
