I've recorded/rendered a few DA movies recently. The raw footage always has sound as part of the .avi file. So when I play it in whatever program the sound from the game is also present.
But when I render the files in Sony Vegas then play them again after, there's no sound. I've made sure Fraps is recording sound, which is obviously is since it plays in the raw footage. I've made sure Sony Vegas has "Include Audio" checked. I've also tried changing the Audio Modes and Attributes to see if it would work like that. Still no go.
I know usually in Sony Vegas there is an audio track if you add your own music to be rendered with the video. There is not one present when I add the video but I thought it was just part of the video file so it wouldn't show up.
I'd like to fix this or find out why it does this if possible. I've tried looking around and can't seem to find anything. I was hoping someone here who has also made some videos of DA might know what the problem is.
Thanks.
Edit: If I render it in Windows Movie Maker the sound is present. But the quality is a little bit worse, even though it's set to render a little higher than Vegas is.
