i do speed rns because the only n7 i want is the black widow ten and as you can see its only lvl 4 so ma valiant 5 is still better in reload bounce accuracy and fire rate

to be fair i didnt need six medi gels i might use 3 max in a game but seing six on my screen would have been nice

Thats the site I went to, all my friends were under the same impression, gamefaqs members were also seeing the issue and I don't constantly hit refresh waiting for something to update, I check the site and move on. PS3 users didn't even get a splash screen so most users didn't even know the event was on.

Out of curiosity, what is it that you want so much? I figured if you had everything maxed you would either stop playing the game and move on, or just play it for fun.

I get you said you do nothing but game, maybe you should get into a more online only type of game to spend your time if something as small as this community event has you in a tizzy. A game that focus more on online would feed your need to grind endlessly and still reap rewards when you feel you have everything maxed as the sole focous of the game would be online only, no single player.

I just don't understand what you expect from ME3's MP portion, most Single player games that have a tacked on MP are built very similar to ME3's and only last so long in terms of online community. The fact we get community events are pretty nice and the support they have been giving it is impressive, compared to other Single Player games with multiplayer added.

Truth is, if you're asking "what's in it for me?" then you've clearly missed the point of "community". That being, sometimes, it's not all about you and your manifest.

An ultra-rare would be a nice alternative reward for those of us with characters maxed already.

And see, that's where we differ. I don't give a damn if a weapon is better than another. I use the stuff I like, whether its lvl I or X. If I were you, I'd just us the Black Widow and over time if you get upgrades then good for you! Same thing in the sense that I don't build classes based on "gold/platinum viability." (ex. I use the missle launcher power on my destroyer because it's awesome! Now overly effective, but damn cool).

But you're clearly set with your decison to not do the community goal. So don't. No one is going to force you. If it gets accomplished you get a free piece of gear/ammo. If not, oh well. Just get out of the thread and stop arguing with people. People today can't see things from other peoples views, so you won't change your mind and no one else will change theirs either. Just stop feeding the fire and good luck getting your BW.

You made a thread on the forum that anyone has the right to come in here and post their thoughts. You asked whats in it for you and you basically got a resounding "NOTHING" out of it, so don't participate in the event, its a really simple concept, no one is going to be pissed that you are not participating, no one is going to hold it against you, the comments trying to make the game about you did enough damage. lol

I'm in the same boat OP. I have mine maxed out. Anyone who plays around 4 or 5 platinum matches a day most likely have all the characters maxed out. Also this sounds like the easiest operation to date so it wont matter if we choose not to help.

I find it genuinely hard to believe you thought you would post a thread like this in this forum - of all places - and expect anything other than a huge argument. Because at the end of the day, you, and the players "in your shoes" are likely in a minority. The majority of the community probably doesn't have all their N7 characters maxed, and certainly not since day one. At the end of the day, you post a thread in a public forum, you have to expect some opposition to your views to crop up, whether you like it or not.

In answer to your original question, OP; Why should you contribute to this weekend's goal?

I don't know.

Perhaps for fun.

Perhaps out of a sense of duty, or honor.

Perhaps because you're bored.

Check our manifests if you don't believe us. It is not very hard to get all six of them maxed out if you are a good player.
