Not always a good player, but a player with a TON of free time. Anyone can max out everything if they put the time into farming credits to get the best gear.

It's the manner in which you posed your original statement which got people's 'attention'. You had to be aware at the type of replies you'd receive. It would have been a wiser choice to not post anything at all and not play during this upcoming operation. Boom. Problem solved. Easy as pie.

I think I read, in another thread, that if you have all Earth DLC characters maxed out you get a random rare.

Oops, my bad, I don't have all Earth DLC characters maxed and thus according to someone I should not dare to post in this thread...

So long as I don't violate Bioware/EA rules, the law, morality and my conscience, community ethics or the ethics of my profession, I'll post what I want either (1) to help others; or (2) because it interests me, or amuses me, or I'm testing my typing speed, whatever.

If someone politely asks that only certain people will respond, I would probably comply. I state "would probably" because I can't recall ever seeing someone ask politely.

You don't like that, then unless you have some official status or can persuade me that for rules, legal, moral reasons or community or professional ethics I should behave differently, tough.

I've got all of the new characters, with all of the appearance options unlocked, and I plan on playing the game and doing my part to help with the community goal. Some people don't have the new classes yet, so if in helping the community complete the allied goal I help someone get one of the new characters, then I'll consider that a win. But maybe that's just me...

Ya if you have a lot of time then you can just farm gold all day, but if you are a really good player then you don't need a lot of time. With my teams I play with we can do like 6 platinum runs in 2 hours and make as many credits as FBWGG farmers make in 5 or 6 hours

I think everyone forgot the OP's question. Why?
Last week we were offered an extra medigel and all the top players offered to help carry people through resort gold to help reach that goal. This week top players are offered a rare. Which means lv 4 ammo. Last week I played silver instead of gold sacrificing credit because of incentive. This week the incentive is just not there.

BTW I don't consider my self a top player.

It's players like OP and his friends that has PC/PS3 players saying bad things about the xbox live base.



Because they do speed runs and others don't they are better then the rest and should be giving better rewards and if not then the rest of the me3 community is screwed cuz the "xbox pros" won't help

I just unlocked the Harrier, so I don't care so much if the victory pack doesn't have an ultra rare now. I'll only intentionally go for the community goal though if it does have something more worthwhile to everyone else.

What exactly are you defending here?

I don't know why you're quoting my post out of context(the statements that you omitted were my entire point, not the last paragraph), why you equate free time/real money/glitching(past or present) with being a 'good' player, nor why you automatically placed yourself into the category of the untruthful 95% instead of the truthful 5% I referenced.

With that being said, based on your response in conjunction with your manifest having all Rare Weapons/Characters/Gear maxed, yet with only one Uncommon at X, I must say - ... it's a bit obvious.

I have all N7's, I want to help the community get there's. So if you want to be selfish, go ahead. Honestly, what did you think was gonna happen when you started this thread. I don't have my uncommons at X because I'd rather save my money for PSPs than spending it on veteran packs and getting useless guns. And btw I've never missile glitched, and I do platinum runs almost exclusively, thats how I get my credits.

Playing for credits and wiping on wave 10 is all well and good, but really. I'm playing for fun. Anyone needs a silver player with all the Earth characters at max, let me know. More than happy to help cover flanks, etc.

While I understand your questioning how this weekend operation shall entice those that already have all the classes- I think OP, you need to understand that not everyone can be pleased all of the time.

So this means while one group (as in the last operation we failed) whines and posts multiple threads how including a Gold match requirement is unfair- some people who have all the newer classes will feel clearly like they are being under served by this weekends challenge and reward.
I would hazard to guess that your segment of the ME3 player population, those that can input a tremendous amount of time to stockpile huge amounts of credits and purchase with abandon- is a small segment.

So it's very simple: you participate if you feel like it, if it's fun, if you might feel some slight feeling of contributing to some greater goal no matter that it's false (lets not break the fourth wall ok?), or because you like the camaraderie of going into battle with us. Otherwise you should take a break and go do something more fulfilling- like read a book or take a walk or cook a meal or something. At this point you sound like you're playing the martyr because you feel entitled to something Bioware and this community owes you because you've been so stellar at cranking out extractions and farming etc.

While it's a legitimate question to ask how Bioware is going to keep hardcore gamers happy with challenges you kind of shot your own foot multiple times in this thread being the martyr and then also making large assumptions about BSN because not everyone hopped with interest to your other more "logical" threads. The BSN boards move swiftly don't take it personally.
Don't play if you do not feel it worth it but don't bother trying to ask the community at large to present you with the motivation to do so if you can't scrape it up yourself.

While I said you in my post the term did not apply only to you, but I was adressing your question and you stated that you had everything thus I gave someone like you a reason or two why you should still participate and stop caring only about yourself(ves). I think it was very relevant dispite what you thought about the reasonable answer given.

To repeate; it's not about you/those who already have everything, but you are still getting something anyway for doing it. This is a co-op multiplayer game, the prize is for the community not the individual and I can hazard to guess the majority do not have everything already. Not only that but if we do not fail again, and every bit of help, even from those with a little bit less to gain, we wont suffer on the next challenge in some way and perhaps you will enjoy that reward more so then what they are offering this time and you'll be glad to not be punished from the failure the previous week.

I've actually thought more about it. Your original point was definitely lost in people attacking you for how you were trying to make it. I was one of those people. Some of the stuff you said was just absurd.

To the OP:

You do have a point though, about the poor reward for people who have already maxed everything out. You have to understand though, there is a finite amount of content to the game. This is a reality that I only really consider in threads like these, as I unlock stuff gradually. You'll still get the squad goal commendation pack. I also noticed that you don't have all the rare gear unlocked in your manifest. This being the case, won't the rare card you receive include one of them?
