Run mine 63665, wan't really digging the cryo or fire shield. I see the benefits of cryo on bosses but it messed up my rhythm and by the time i had actually managed to land that melee some GI or Destroyer had ripped through the armor, so I just took incinerate since I have more fun when I have all 3 powers, plus occasional tech bursts. Even if they aren't strong with rank 3 incinerate, they can crowd control. Keeping the fire and ice theme is fun too

I tested Incinerate on the Paladin with a 6/6/6/5/3 build. Didn't miss the elemental shield too much and Incinerate is a fun power,. The problem is that there is absoulutely no situation where you would want to incinerate instead of Snap Freeze unless you play him long range (which is just vastly suboptimal but a choice you are free to make).

I made mine based on one of your vids (so thanks, I couldn't figure him out before but now he's practicaly all I ever use).
60666
snap freeze: range/damage/weaken armor
energy drain: aoe/recharge/protection (although i read it's bugged if you're not hosting but meh)
paladin: all weight and power damage
shield: health/shield recharge/ice

I'm not a heavy hitter but more of a debuff/support character so i hardly get half the score of a GI or whatever but I'm satisfied as long as we extract (although I have the impression those "big shots" sometimes don't even realise how much I'm contributing).

I always use the particle rifle, pared with cryo rounds the grunts are under control. Disruptor on geth.
Been pairing it with the acolyte lately because the phantoms barriers were my weak spot and now I can take care of atlas/prime shields and banshee barriers in a few shots since ED + particle rifle takes forever.

Pretty much the build I run, with a few minor differences.

Works just fine in gold, just don't be an idiot but that goes for anything you bring into gold.

For the shield I'd recommend taking the shield recharge rate. Even without the full 5k HP there hasn't been any situation where my shield has broken from something that wouldn't have one shotted it anyway.

On snap freeze I took damage taken increase. Still not sure how useful it is compared to duration/slow. I like them both pretty much equally.

I go for Duration/Slow because it'll keep the Debuff on target longer. If your team is working with you, they'll typically tear it to pieces even without the extra duration, but if you're on your own, it'll come in handy for killing a boss single handedly.

This is the build I run with: http://narida.pytalh...9p9MEICN4O4Z4I4

I use the acolyte for two purposes. To pretty much nullify phantoms and geth hunters as a threat(it's also useful for stripping shields off bosses a bit faster). But anywho, one shot from this weapon will get rid of a phantom's barrier, allowing you to melee her and snap freeze or melee again while she's on the ground. Same for geth hunter though it takes another shot or two.

I also do the snap freeze + cryo shield slam to negate armor and it works quite well.

This guy is a beast in close quarters and especially on maps like glacier. Open areas tend to not be so great for him(which is kinda sad for this weekend considering London has 3 majorly open areas).

Tip for banshees and other enemies that can sync kill; get 'em on a ramp and don't stay on the same elevation as them. They won't be able to sync kill you at all.

Also, I took the shield strength so I could shrug off geth prime + turret cheapness and block the shots from their weapons as well as negate damage from phantom and atlas bullets. Handy for a lot of other things too(like soaking a warp or aoe from a banshee and not getting the dot on you).

Mine is

6/3/6/5/6

I find incinerate sometimes useful for long range tech bursts.

It's also nice because you can bank it around corners to hit targets that Energy Drain won't be able to hit. Plus, it's fire and will cause orcanic targets to dance, which is always fun. >w>

Glad you enjoyed it! Paladin is lots of fun!

You are a team player no doubt. I'm not much of a support myself. I prefer to be the "Big Shot". :P. You can outscore most GI's on Gold with this guy if you choose to. The weapon damage output can be really massive with one or both the evolutions in the passive tree taken + Shotgun Amp V and Shotgun Rail Amp III.

Oh no don't worry I play up close with a Piranha and I essentially never use incinerate, I just have it.  Since I really got no help from the elemental shields, I prefer to send enemies flying with the normal one, so I just dropped the points in Incinerate since they can't go anywhere else.  Now if by some chance I'm stuck far away and need to hit armor, at least I won't be bored :wizard:

Thanks again for the advice, I'll try it as soon as I'm confident enough on gold, can't finish without decent teammates, if my whole team is down it's mostly hit-and-run untill the banshee remains (if there's 2 or too many enemies I just cobra though and I play vs reaper 75% of the time).
So basicly I need you big shots ;) , just don't like being kicked based on scores. That's probably the reason in most cases.

Uh...Yes. Not sure why you decided to post this question on my thread here, but whatever.
