I am having two spearate problems.

1) Every single time I run ME2 it asks me to login to the Cerberus network, is this normal, it says there's a problem with the servers.

2) When I do login I see four DLCs I can buy but I have already bought them.

I bought ALL DLCs and downloaded them to my desktop and then installed them.

Where in the game does it show the DLCs?

Thanks.

It doesn't 'show' the DLCs with an indicatior or anything. You now have the weapons and costumes available from your locker and for those characters when you get them. For those packs. For the story packs, you can now go on those side quests when you play the game.

Yes, ME2 does this annoying thing of forgetting my EA login details every time I run it. I've tried a few tricks suggested here, but nothing has worked.

Any solutions anyone?

Thank you for helping and now at least I know I'm not alone with the login problems.  Just started playing after finishing ME1 and THIS game is even cooler!  The graphics are clean and crisp, the detail is amazing.  I met the Illusive Man and now have to go to Freedom's Progress.

What a great franchise!

One more thing, does it matter if I login? What happens if I play without it?

Yes, it does. If you don't log in then your DLC won't be available in game. I think the save games would give difficulty as well.

The graphics are good. If you have an Nvidia vid card then the latest drivers allow you to enable adaptive vsync and FXAA for ME2 (and ME1 for that matter) which will make it even better.

Also, you may want to consider buying the 'Fire Power' DLC pack if you haven't already. There are far fewer gun options in ME2 compared to ME1 & ME3 and this pack adds some really good ones from the start. The 'Aegis Pack' is good too as the armour in that pack comes in sections that you can swap around with the few such sets in game already. I got all the story DLC + the two packs mentioned and the 'Equalizer Pack' (plus the Cerbrus Network as well of course) and I don't regret any of them. The 'Equalizer Pack' isn't so amazing, but I do use the helmets in there so it's worth while. I didn't bother with the costumes as they add no real game play, and I don't need 'Genesis' as I already have ME1 which is much better.

I have and Nvidia card and a handbuilt PC that screams, OC'd to almost 4GHz.

I have all the DLC's I could buy except the one weapons pack you mentioned, I'll have to get it.

Thanks a lot for getting back to me about logging in, I appreciate it and I can see how it could cause problems.

This is an awesome game, my son and I are playing it and I'm amazed at how the decision choices made in ME1 show in ME2. This is pretty cool. I know there's been a lot of controversy over the ending but it matters not to me because to me they're just games and we'll move onto another one after this. But still, one of the finest voice acting I have ever seen in any game. Bioware really did a great job.
