There is a few things that need to be fixed with that.
Even if Anders and Hawke are a couple and him a Warden. Hawke would of know before he blew up the Chantry that she was with child. A woman knows within the first two weeks or no later then the end of a cycle. If she herself was a mage I would say she would know defiantly within the first two weeks. The body starts the change instantly with hormones and stuff. Also not having a menstrual cycle the next month would indicate something.
I was basing this detail on personal experience (I'm a mom of 2). When I got pregnant from my first child my periods were very irregular and me and hubby had been trying for a baby for over 5 years. After that long, we simply weren't expecting a pregnancy and had started talking about going to a fertility doctor, in vitro, etc.. We both thought a kid would not happen without expert medical help.
Then I started to feel more tired and had a huge appetite but I thought it was the flu and my mom's cooking since we were visiting her. I even got scolded by my mom for being so lazy and eating so much!
When I got back from visiting her I went to my doctor for "the flu" that wouldn't go away and found out I was 6 weeks pregnant.

Also just as a side note......
Isabela would have ALOT of questions.
My Hawke would have some explaining to do if she was with child.
Anyways good luck with the story.

Txs, I should get back to updating it at Fanfic.net It's called "Never Taunt a Mage" and author is Renmiri if you want to check it out ^^
First off I want to say congratulations on becoming a mother. It is a long and tough journey that brings out so much in us. Even in the worst of times our children remind us just how beautiful the world can be.
Now that the sappy stuff is out of the way.
When I posted about Hawke's menstrual cycle.
Several things I was considering when I posted.
1- The time frame of events in the game.
2- The Era of the game its self. ( the middle ages loosely / King Arthur time period )
3- Hawke being a mage or not being a mage
4- Anders being a Grey Warden
There is more but they are just little compared to the main 4 I just listed.
However the 2nd one on the list is what I was mainly referencing when talking about Hawke's cycle.
I already know that many will be like.....WHF does that have to do with any thing.
So I'll break it down simply and try not to sound like a know it all.
During Hawke's Era ( as portrayed in game ) we can see that it loosely the Middle Ages.
So taking in account of that time frame. We know different factors come into play as far as health not just then but now.
So I ask you only to consider that the difference between HOW we eat now and how they ate then.
If you look back on the food itself you will notice a BIG change in it.
First off the growing season.
Second the way the crops was fertilized.
Third the size of the animals like dairy cow and beef cow.
That is only to name a few.
There is so much we have done based on supply and demand that it has changed the way we eat.
( I'm not a saint I'm guilty of it also.)
So back to what I was saying.
The fact is that the chemicals and steroids we use in our food has more of a factor in why women in today's Era have a higher risk of not being able to become pregnant.
(Yes it was also a risk way back then but the risk was much more limited.)
So that was what I was basing my post on when I talked about Hawke's menstrual cycle.
I was taking in the way they ate compared to today.
It's just something to think about.
I didn't try to imply anything about Hawke or yourself. I'm sorry if I did offend you.
Once again I'm glad that you was blessed with two children.
Have A Good Day
