That looks good!  I like the shrug on the arms during the idle animations.  How did you choose to rig it up?

Thri did the rigging. I'm just picking up where he left off. The entire visible creature is a group of skins that are attached to a frame of polygons roughly the same size and shape as the individual creature parts.

Once the animations are complete you might want to find a new skin and create the otyughs larger cousin the neoytugh. :D

A neotyugh would be pretty simple - just a rescale and a tinted texture.
