I've made a simple cutscene, but I want to substitute one of the actors in the cutscene for another.
I've replaced one using the load function and the cutscene will play perfectly in the toolset editor using the new actors.

However, once the cutscene is played in the game engine, the replaced actor will not play any animation and stands in the "default" pose.

The fact that it plays perfectly in the toolset, but not the game itself, makes this very frustrating.

Any ideas?

The solution I am going with is creating a new actor with the appearance I want. Then, select all the actions for the previous actor and copy and paste them into the new actor. You may have problems with some events, particularly with playing head animations, but you can simply copy the start time/speed/offset/animation numbers into notepad and then recreate them for the new actor.

Found out what it was. The CUT file was not referencing the correct CUB file. This can happen if you create duplicates of existing cutscenes, rename them and "export without dependancies"

If you are going to do an override with the duplicated cutscene, you only need to rename the CUT file, and it should still reference the correct CUB file.
