When getting packs, you'll only receive items and characters from the core game and from DLC that you have installed.

• EDIT: The second time I did this, all l had to do was delete the folders, and Origin did not notice. After buying my packs, I restored them from the Recycle Bin. Moving or renaming them rather than deleting them would have worked as well.

1. Acquire loads of credits/Bioware Points.

2. Quit the game and Origin.

3. Go to your Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3\\BIOGame\\DLC folder. Your Origin Games folder may be in your Program Files or Program Files (x86) folders, though I install all of my games in C:\\Games. Delete the folders containing the DLC with content you do not want to unlock.

DLC_CON_MP1: Resurgence
DLC_CON_MP2: Rebellion
DLC_CON_MP3: Earth

4. Start Origin. Immediately, click the i button to access the details for Mass Effect 3. You'll see Origin is helpfully redownloading your missing DLC. Pause and cancel the download(s). The next time you launch Origin, it will attempt to do so again.

5. Start Mass Effect 3. Ignore the warning about DLC being corrupt and not active. Go to the store and buy your packs.

I think Bioware needs to call this one.

However it shouldn't be IMO. IN all the time you are uninstalling/reinstalling, you could have gotten more creds for all DLC roll-chance, so it might be more balanced.

And yet, I don't have the Paladin. Which is infuriating since I've been playing since day 1..

I don't have the Javelin either but who cares, Black Widow VIII

So you dont loose any dlc weapons charecters anything?

The missing DLC items don't *appear*, but as soon as you reinstall the DLC they're re-unlocked.

Here's how it works for PS3, feel free to add to OP:

• Go into Game Data Utility on the XMB. Note: Do not delete anything from Saved Data Utility.
• Delete file called "Mass Effect 3 DLC and Patches". Do this by pressing Triangle on it and selecting "Delete" from the list.
• If you want something from a specific pack, download and install just that one from the PSN store (or leave them all off if you are unlocking the base weapons/characters).
• Go back into ME3 and it will ask you to install latest patch, go ahead and install.
• Go into multiplayer and buy your packs.
• Exit game and re-download and install any missing DLC from PSN Store.

So on the X360 we just delete the dlc packs (except the one you are hunting weapons/characters on) and open the packs?

So I tried for a Krogan Vanguard, Deleted all dlcs except the Resurgence pack and opened about 12 psps.... still didn't get it. >_>
